What exactly are you experiencing with your sleeping issues? I've been thinking about seeing a doctor about mine recently so I'm curious to know if we have any similarities. I haven't been able to sleep sober before five am for four or five months now, and in the last three weeks I'm wide awake until around 6-9 am, and even when I do get to sleep eventually it's not a proper sleep, more periods of drifting in and out. It's leaving me feeling physically wrecked the next day and often feeling spacey and I've been noticing concentration issues. I've been through a big stage of smoking spliff out the window at night to help induce sleep but I've eased back on that a bit to try and give my body a chance to do it naturally but to no avail. Pretty much exactly the same as you except when I get to sleep I have horrible nightmares. I would call them night terrors because they do terrify me and when I wake up from one I never know if I've actually woken up or even if it was just a dream or not. The last time I got a decent sleep was thanks to a bottle of tequila and some weed. And that was a good two-three months ago.

The worst i had it was for about 3 weeks. My mouth swelled up big time and i couldnt get the burning to go away. Had trouble sleeping. Had to sleep up right with a face towl on my mouth because it would get ridiculously dry. My face went all red and burning and was just not pleasant at all. Now im more aware of it so havent had it so bad, plus i make sure to keep allergy tablets with me.

The situation you just described is not IDEAL now is it, the fact that the mother is addicted to heroin which has caused need for seperation, certainly doesn't sound IDEAL to me, how about you? Therefore, the situation is not IDEAL You following this at all?

What an absolute fail of a save. Point is, while children deserve to have both parents, sometimes it is neither practical, nor IDEAL or even ethical in a real world scenario for them to continue to live in houses where they're exposed to negative environments. Sometimes, separation is the IDEAL outcome. Quote:Pretty much exactly the same as you except when I get to sleep I have horrible nightmares. Failing that, hypnosis and meditation are other good options.

Sometimes, separation is the IDEAL outcome. oh ffs did you even read the rest of my post? I was in SUPPORT of him taking the kids full time from the mother! I was just saying that its never IDEAL for a family to be split apart, however sometimes it is necessary. I'll say it again, because you don't seem to be quite comprehending my very simple message: "It is never ideal for a family to be split up, but some times it is necessary" Yes, the "ideal" outcome for the kids of a drug fucked Mum is to remove them, but it would be even more "ideal" if the Mum wasn't drug fucked in the first place and therefore there was no need for the seperation in the first place and the family could stay together! Mate I get that your bored and that Notor isn't playing with you any more, but stop trying to fabricate arguments with me, alright? cunt? Edited by RJL25: 8/11/2012 11:24:48 PM

You're talking about a utopian world where everyone lives in white picket houses in a nuclear family. Fact of the matter is, 62% of american families are considered to be dysfunctional according to a 2009 survey. So unless you're going to bludgeon dysfunctional parents to death and replace them with clones of Nigella Laweson and Curtis Stone then that's just not going to happen.

Don't you bloody see that? I'm saying that yes the IDEAL situation (ie ideal world, utopian, whatever you want to call it) is that the parents are together with the kids, but in the real world shit happens and sometimes its best for the kids to be seperated from 1 or both parents. Again, I WAS POSTING IN SUPPORT OF HIM TAKING THE KIDS FULL TIME! FFS man I'm on your bloody side!!! Whats wrong with you? Your picking an argument with someone who is already in bloody agreement with you! Are you drunk? Edited by RJL25: 8/11/2012 11:53:43 PM

Obviously this is a problem with language. RJL25 wrote:how often are seperations ideal? Never, thats how often! This is what you said. Obviously we agree that in an in-ideal world this isn't the case.

Fuck, that's intense mate. I'm completely different in that regard, I have really boring dreams about standard things like a conversation with someone or eating lunch with mates for example, it's so plain that it's completely realistic though and always has me trying to work out if it actually happened or not.

If you want to affect people positively, you will. But you can't live your life caring what everyone else thinks and trying to impress them - you'll go insane.
What's the point in running yourself into the ground trying to make other people happy if you're miserable?
