Nothing wrong with her trying. The issue is that she appears to be succeeding.

What do you mean trying? She has succeeded and is one of the richest in the biz. One of the biggest pop stars going round.

Clever marketing. Young teens are easily impressionable and susceptible to peer pressure. Convincing them to nag their parents in to buying her albums, or spending their allowances on her albums, is the only way that the music industry makes any money out of recorded formats these days because anyone who's any older has their own internet connection and isn't gullible enough to give record companies stupid money so they just download music illegally.

WGMG: Not my month at work at the moment. Sliced my fucking hand open whilst putting bottles through the bottle machine. Normally we've got a pair of industrial strength, elbow long gloves that you wear when doing it. Of course this week they've gone missing. There a singular glove for the right hand. So of course a bottle shatters. I instinctively go to shield my face, and somehow I've caught the shattered bottle in my ungloved left hand.

3 weeks ago I sliced my left ring finger on the lime cutter, and the week before that sliced another finger cutting limes with a knife. They say bad things come in 3s so hopefully this is the last of it. I've been working at this pub for around 4 years, and aside from a few minor cuts and bruises that you expect from working in a bar I've been pretty lucky, bar this last month. :x  I'm more annoyed than anything about it. The lime cutter incident and this incident both happened when we've been busy and short staffed, and me going home bleeding like a stuck pig doesn't help the team. It could be life telling me I need a new job/career.

WGMG: we're getting a dog on Thursday. A family friend is moving to Africa for 6 months and needs to offload a 12 year old German Shepard cross Collie and something else...
This is just odd... My dog died in 2008 and whilst I loved him, I really don't want another dog. They smell, shed and poo and they're just inconvenient.

Within a few weeks you'll change your tune and you'll be loving having a dog permanently around again.

Are alarm bells ringing for anyone that you'll have a 12 year old, big dog, for 6months+? That's a long time, for an old dog. Here's hoping there's no vet visits for yall and that he/she stays super healthy and happy!
