Also Honduras Chile was a super open and attacking game to watch. Deflection or not, a goals a goal. We deserved it anyways. One of the most dominant displays so far, and Uruguay are the only people to have stopped the Vuvuzela's in this World Cup so far. :p . Not to mention the massive dive for the penalty, and the fact he was offside or the penalty oh and the fact it wasn't a red card:lol: Keeper made contact with him, Suarez was definitely onside and the keeper was the last man so a red card was acceptable.

Very very minimal contact, Suarez definately made the most of it. When the initial ball was played in Suarez he was onside but when Cavani got a touch he was offside thus he should have been pulled up for that. As for the red card he was running away from goal, it wasn't a clear goal scoring opportunity thus not a red card.

Suarez certainly made the most of it, but that's to be expected from Uruguayans and no surprise at all. He may not have been running straight at the goal, but he was still in a position to shoot had he not been fouled.

And in a situation like that, the ref had to give a red card. He was going down quite alot all game I thought, which is wierd because Uruguayan's aren't known to be divers and he never really did it that much for Ajax this season. I got frustrated a few times when he should have just stayed on his feet.

He plays like he once had polio and has been hit in the head by a brick. Did you drop him as a child? He's never playing under my stewardship again." Quote:There was contact, Suarez did make the most of it but it was still a penalty. If he'd kept his feet the ref wouldn't have awarded the penalty though. And as we saw last week in the South Africa v Mexico game, it's possible to keep your feet in that scenario. Quote:which is wierd because Uruguayan's aren't known to be divers 'The FUCK?! Uruguay have one of the worst reputations for diving there is. Up there with Italy.

afromanGT wrote:'The FUCK?! Uruguay have one of the worst reputations for diving there is. Up there with Italy. I have watched basically every Uruguay game since 2005. The current squad they have right now are not divers at all. Maybe 10 years ago, they had a reputation for diving, but they have never ever been up there with Italy. I am not sure where you got that from.... afromanGT wrote:If he'd kept his feet the ref wouldn't have awarded the penalty though. The contact was there, but enough for him to go down the way he did, I don't think so.

No budget? Nah my whole bench bar a keeper consists of defenders thats just my line up. No budget but a max of two players per nation

WFMB: I still can't get enough of this image. It must surely be the single angriest look of all time. If looks could kill, that's nuclear holocaust right there.
