I remember that back when it happened, me and my mates still talk about it as one of the key moments for the demise of aussie rock in pop music. It destroyed Frenzal, and other abnds like Killing Heidi, to an extent Powderfinger, etc. And really fucked things up for the likes of The Butterfly Effect, Cog, Chevelle, etc going mainstream and gaining popularity.
