He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

macktheknife wrote:Who goes to Adelaide FOR the road trip. Lots of teams from Victoria go to RAdelaide for their end of season trip away. One of the teams in our league went 2 weeks ago, and we'll be over there the same time as one of the AFL teams from our town. It's cheap and convenient, they have alcohol, bars and strippers....that is pretty much the only requirements.

WFMB: Go to my first Northland game this year (last game of the season) after a 700km train trip.
WFMBEM: They win 36-24, stopping Bay of Plenty from making the playoffs.
WFMBEMTFBAGTGB: BOP supporters giving me and my grandad their spare tickets for nothing. In the premium section of the main stand (around $40 NZD each usually)

As a result I have to support the team from my uni town

Thanks man, I live and die for Northland rugby. Good to hear people like us even though the NZRU don't! Yeah Payne's surely knocking on the door of the All Blacks. Lachie is pretty up himself, but he plays premiers for the same local club my brother plays under-7s for. Took a wander onto the field after the game with my brother, who got Lachie's autograph and said that he plays for Mid-Western too and he got a pat on the head for it :d .
