People that say they don't care about looks in a relationship are kidding themselves. Sure it's wrong to go out with someone JUST because they're hot, but saying looks don't matter, its BS. That's what matters in the first place, and sexual attraction is fucking needed for a relationship to work.

I'm scared that I'm agreeing with Bonkers again, that's twice in 2 days. But yeah people that say looks don't matter are just lying to themselves. Even if they don't know it they judge people based on looks as well. When looking for prospective partners the thing that draws you to them is the attraction, without that there is no relationship.

I couldn't care less about what a friend who is a girl looks like, a bit different to a girlfriend, but when you say attraction, it's attraction in your eyes, not attraction as in girls that everyone think are hot

Bonkers and that have a pretty valid point, you can't force yourself to find someone physically attractive, your perception may alter over time but its going to be a pretty futile relationship. Having said that women with the personalities of a stick are boring. I have a few plain girl mates with the personalities of a 10 but I just can't see them as anything other than mates despite the great personalities, a healthy blend between looks and personality is a must
