He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

WFMB: Four day weekend, fuck yeah! Do you guys have Queens Birthday weekend? I think its a pretty popular name for schools, although I noticed this one was co-ed. Every state in Australia has Queens Birthday this weekend, apart from WA. We have foundation fay, which is a public holiday to celebrate the day WA officially became a state or something. And then for some weird reason, we get a Queens birthday holiday later in the year. Not that I'm complaining.

I went skiing in Queenstown, but it was just kind of icy mushy stuff, not powdery snow at all, but excellent for skiing on. I've never been in falling snow before though.

I went skiing with my school in Victoria last year. T'was great. Teachers didn't care where we went, as long as we went in a group and were back at the inn for lunch and dinner. Unfortunately, my friends didn't bother to tell me they were snowboarding, rather than skiing like they'd initially said. So i ended getting tons of crap in my dorm for being the only skier.

A good few inches from what dad says. wow... i heard about some serious snow sometime before i moved to canberra. But i guess that wouldve been a good bit before that. On the few occasions ive seen it snow here it pretty much melts as soon as it hits the ground.
