WFMB: This semester at uni is awesome. Fundamentals of Football Coaching is gonna be a sweet class. WAFMB: My right knee/quads seem to be close to fixed up so I should be able to start running and playing indoor again soon. WAFMB: At uni today we played some 4v4 and I dominated. Through balls galore s0ns  Me and 3 girls completely slaughtering 3 other teams made up of all boys, hilarity ensued.

Wish they offered something like that over here, cause I'd totally take it.

I'm sure you could do some research into the sport sciences courses available at Otago Uni, I hear they're quite good.

I'll definitely have a look into it, some representatives of Otago Uni are actually coming to my school on Friday to talk to students. Doubt there'd be a sports science with a focus on football type thing like ual is doing.

There would probably be a rugby oriented one  If there isn't you could ask them about the flexibility of the course and whether you can design certain syllabus. You drop your guard for 2 minutes, and that's all it can take. 2 minuscule minutes. In less time then it takes to get through an average song, we had come down from a losing position, where quite frankly we didn't look like scoring, to gaining a 2-goal advantage. Absolutely brilliant to watch.

It was a great advertisement for our sport, that's for sure. WFMB: Gatorade/Powerade/Vitamin Water when I'm scattered. Best cure.

afromanGT wrote:WFMB: Gatorade/Powerade/Vitamin Water when I'm scattered. Best cure. It's the electrolytes in the sports drinks that do it. That's why when I come home from a night out, my hangover cure involves: 1 large glass of water - start getting the fluids back into your system. 1 large glass of Gatorade - I've got the powder tubs at my place, you can pick them up for about $10 a tub at Woolies. Mix it yourself, beats buying the bottles for $4.00 each. 2 Vitamin C's 2 Centrums (any multi-vitamin will do) 1 Fish Oil tablet 1 more glass of gatorade. Then I go to bed, it re-hydrates you, replenishes your lost stock of minerals in your body that you've lost through drinking. I wake up the next morning, no hangover what so ever. Works a treat every time. Beating a hangover is simple, you just got to be smart about it. Most people are too lazy to do that when they get home though.

To be honest, there's a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference between being scattered and being hungover.
My hangovers are quite mild and I can handle them. I just down a couple of waters before I crash and have a bottle of water ready for when I wake up, get up and eat a greasy breakfast with something bread and something potato and I feel fine within an hour or two.
Being scattered from Weed/Speed/pills is a different story entirely. I assume you're right about the Electrolytes and whatnot though.

WKOFMB: The 2nd XI this year is basically going to be a feeder team for the 1st XI, so that although my chances of getting straight in are pretty low, I can still make it later in the season. Flip-side is that those who aren't performing get dropped down a team, which I'm sure will happen a lot, cause the coach is going to be brutal.
