WFMB: Ankle finally feeling better.

WFMB: Ground control when there is no-one at the ground. I sold 1 bacon and egg sandwich in an hour and a half on the BBQ.

Edit: Fuckn fuck fuck fuckn bullshit fukn. Her flight got diverted to Melbourne, so she isn't coming back until later. Fuckn bullshit fog around Sydney airport. Apparently they trid to land 3 times, but the pilot pulled out cuz he couldn't see shit.

Lame.

In all fairness, wouldn't you rather the plane divert to Melbourne because the pilot "couldn't see shit" due to the fog/weather/blindness/whatever then him attempt a landing and crash into Botany Bay and everyone die...

:lol: Sydney Airport definitely isn't one where you don't mind if the pilot is a little bit out with his landing. Can confirm I nearly shat myself the first time I flew in there as a kid.

Approaching Hobart from the south is pretty scary too :lol: Dublin's fun as well, it's always windy as fuck on the approach and you think the plane's gonna land on a 45 degree angle.

Reminds me of a joke...
Two pilots are coming in to land at Dublin airport, Paddy and Mick.
Mick looks out the window and says "Fook me, Paddy. That runway looks a bit bloody short. Are we going to have room to land?"
But they agree to try and land the plane anyway, as they touchdown they throw the engines into reverse, throw the breaks on and do everything they can to bring the plane to rest and it comes to a screeching halt with a matter of inches left on the runway.
"Bugger me, that must be the world's shortest runway" says Paddy.
"Yeah, and the fookin' widest" replies Mick.
