WFMB: Talking to some people at the the party I was at, turns out the girl I liked last year liked me back and wanted to go out with me for a while.

Nothing better than getting a new jersey and jumping in the shower, eh?

:lol: I know that feeling. I worked out Friday-Tuesday I spent 46 hours in my bar. I'll get paid for about 28 of those :lol:

WFMB: Saw probably the best goal I've ever seen live today in the game after mine. The player turned and volleyed a cross from the left into the goal from above his head with his other foot still planted on the ground. Sort of like how Zidane scored to win the Champions league final in 2002 but he spun the other way and hit it with his right foot.

WFMB: The 18 holes of golf I played on Friday. Great fun, getting better with every round I play.

There's never penalty rates for bartenders. It's an industry where you're working on weekends all the time as a core part of the business and you end up working bizarre hours. Hell no you don't get OT.

The hardest part is being tired and getting grumpy and still keeping up a standard of service that will keep the tips ticking over.

Most Saturday nights I'll clear about $20-30 in tips after they're split 4 or 5 ways between the bartenders...Sundays when it's quieter and I can remember what everyone is ordering, I often make upwards of $50. When I'm tired and grumpy it's more like $15 :lol:
