she set it up at xmas time and slowly but surely people have been donating. the rate of donation has really gone up this past week - people promising to pledge the whole time have finally come through.

enough people have pledged to donate on the day, i wouldn't be surprised if she hits over $8k.

interestingly enough, she tried to donate her hair to a charity that makes wigs. they told her no because she's had colour in her hair (she got foils? done for the wedding in september). seems like a waste, she's got glorious blonde locks

i have a fair bit of hair on my ID too, but i'm all about the jarhead look nowadays. when i go places and have to show my ID i get questioned about whether the picture is actually me or not.

what kind of 'do are you running nowadays, if you have plenty of hair yet no afro anymore?

I don't recall them doing burgers...but then I've only ever gone there for dessert :lol: If I'm on Fitzroy st I'll usually go to Room for dinner because I get looked after.

It's short-ish at the moment, a week or two and it'll start getting a bit afro-ish again.
