Probably :lol: I didn't expect to just be able to go up to people and start chatting to them, I'm usually useless at that kind of thing, but I don't know, talking to guys is much much easier than I thought it'd be!

Plus, girls tend to hang around in big groups with other girls, so it's so much more simple to go up to a couple of guys and start making conversation rather than a crowd of girls. Everyone's really friendly too!

Yeah...I was gonna say, you'd be literally the ONLY person on earth to have their photo taken with Maynard. He doesn't do it ever.

Generally I'm waaaaaaaaay shyer though, I'm surprising myself that I'm actually going and talking to people!

University is a bit different in the first coupe of weeks. Everyone is trying to make friends with everyone else so you're actually really friendly to people until you realise that half of them are still dicks. But you don't care because you've only known them for like a month.

I'm trying to make friends with people who genuinely seem nice though.

It's because he generally has an ego that would fill up the galaxy. APC's performance in Brisbane was lethargic. Maynard also just stands there doing weird stuff.

Playing music is a job for him. He doesn't want all the "rockstar fame" that comes with it. He likes to keep his private life private - which is fair enough IMO. He's had several incidents of 'fans' breaking in to his family property and upsetting his family.

If you had people coming up to you at YOUR job going "oh my god, I'm your biggest fan, can I lick your face and take a photo?!" you'd tell them to fuck off too.

He cracked a few jokes in Melbourne and that was about it, but that's what I've come to expect from him. If you want to see a Maynard show for the crowd interaction, go and see Puscifer.

Understandable I guess. I don't like any of his bands or much of his music. Not into the progressive stuff too much. I saw Tool at the BDo a few years back and they were pathetic.

I watched APC waiting for Linkin Park. Their only good song was Counting Bodies like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums.

Tool ad BDO in 2010 was awful. The speaker set-up they had wasn't big enough for the band, they actually wrecked several speakers.

Counting Bodies was good, as was Passive.

WFMB: This chick on facebook is complaining about the objectification of women on tv by some show talking about breasts. Her display picture is her in a low-cut top.

I love girls who complain about seedy guys.

Feel like saying to most of them "sweetie, if you wear a belt out as a dress people are going to look at your ass if the can see it."

The logic is bizarre.

I've had girls in my bar complain about guys sleezing on them, and I've pointed out "honey, you're wearing a low cut top and short skirt to get attention. You can't pick and choose the type of attention that you get."

This girl is up in arms "OMG this tv show is so misogynistic, it asked men if they prefer real or fake breasts. It totally objectifies women, blah blah blah" all the while her profile picture is her in a low-cut top.

It's awkward when guys are checking you out when you're NOT wearing tight skimpy clothing though.

When I was at Soundwave half the little harlots had those singlets which have no sides so their baps were out all day. 99% also had shorts on that didn't cover their ass. They deserve every look they get.

They are. They just sound like spastics if they complain about they attention they recieve as a result of it.

This. Wear what you want, but be aware of the reactions you're going to get. I don't walk around in lycra showing off my package because I don't want the comments, why would you wear clothes that show off your boobs and then complain about the comments that you knew were coming?
