Fredsta, if Hockey was loyal to turnbull there wouldn't have been the leadership challenge. Instead it would have been a vote of no-confidence.

But Hockey will be leader by the time the election rolls around anyway. Abbott will get sunk before then. Something will come up. Like that he supports the kiddy-fiddling priests or something.

Hockey was loyal to Turnbull thats why he isnt leader now, he would never have cahllenged him but Abbot is another story, he owes no such loyalty to him

Very true. Hockey showed loyalty to Turnbull and that made him really unprepared and probably a tad too close to Turnbull to swing those voting against Turnbull for the sake of a change. abbott has trouble showing loyalty to himself never mind others.

Hockey was loyal in neglecting to challenge Turnbull's leadership and run he has admitted that he has desires to run and would run for the top job but not if it meant challenging and running against Turnbull who he supported

If he hadn't challenged Turnbull's leadership, Turnbull would still be in charge. He challenged, hence the vote. He just neglected to find the support that was necessary to take charge of the party.

No he didnt afro he has said a few times now that he does harbour the ambition of leadership but would never seak it if it meant de throwning Turnbull whom he is loyal too, we can only speculate as too how he voted in the split but I for one believe he voted for Turnbull who he was close with and has displayed loyalty to

Abbott and Senator Tuckey were the ones actively against Turnbull. Abbott got a motion passed to spill the leadership. hockey then entered as a third candidate behind Turnbull and Abbott. In the firt round of voting Hockey was eliminated and the fight was on between Turnbull and Abbott!! One farken vote victory....not good for stability.
