Sydney Olympic's revolution really looks in tatters now they haven't weon since the first day of the season with only a draw to show since then.
keep bagging us out. Both of our Clubs are gonna win shit this season. But we'll still have the better crowds.

Not in the NSWPL it isn't. I'm happy with the crowds of 600-700 we get week in week out. If crowds were low and we were going shit on the pitch then I'd care but as long as the boys are gonna make the semis then I'm happy. Just because I don't need crowds to somehow justify the size of my club doesn't make me in any way weird. I know my club is big and I know they will make the semis unlike you who relies on crowds to make up for no semis football. Edited by sydneycroatia58: 29/3/2010 09:13:42 AM

the loss to bonnyrigg at home is tremendous Tremendous isn't the right word. Sure it's a loss that hurts but the boys will bounce back. We won the comp from 4th place in 2006 so won't surprise me if we sneak into the semis again and go all the way. We definately have the squad for it.

I would have to say this is one of the most interesting seasons ever in the NSWPL.
Many strong teams.

UNITED UNITED UNITED UNITED UNITED
Marconi 0-3 Sydney United Marconi suffer their first loss of the season and brought back down to earth at home to local rivals Sydney United which sees them drop to 3rd, and move United just 3 points behind leaders Blacktown and Bonnyrigg
West Sydney Berries 3-2 Manly United West Sydney move to just one point out of the top 5 with a 3-2 win over Manly United
South Coast 2-2 Blacktown Bit of an upset here with Blacktown now being drawn back into the pack with a surprising 2-2 draw away to Wolves
Bonnyrigg White Eagles 4-0 Bankstown Bankstown suffer a demoralising loss against Bonnyrigg which sees the Lions down to 9th and Bonnyrigg 1st on GD
Sutherland 5-1 APIA Further embaressment for the league whipping boys in APIA after another loss this time to defending champs Sutherland 5-1. APIA still looking for their first win and rooted to the bottom of the table.

the nsw premier leauge need to lift the bans on the supporters and allow both the supporters of bonnyrig and sydney united to attend each others games to add more of a rivalry to the darby and make it more entriging it's time for both sets of supporters to move on...

It wouldn't surprise me if fnsw play it behind closed doors to save themselves the trouble of crown violence. I think neutral venue and keep the losing supporters back an hour and make sure the winning supporters have cleared the area, but honestly the only way to ensure no crowd trouble is to play behind closed doors cgorac it's not as easy as just lifting the ban. It's not like any other group of supporters in Australia if they don't play behind closed doors we will see a repeat of 2005. Do you want that?

It's never 2 early but i can understand where you're coming from it's just a handful of supporters from both ends that destroy the game. i heard only season ticket holders can go to the games and no one else is that true?

Our Club is very relevant to Australian football. To you our crowd is very significant. It's great to see over the first 4 home games we have gotten crowds over 1000.
Has any other Club achieved this?
My guess would be probably only Bonnyrigg W.E.
So it's good :)

So it's good :) It is fantastic for the club and state league however the way that idiot carries on he is turning people away from your club and the state league. re: Relevance, I was more talking about his pipe dream of 10k and playing in the A-League. Neither will happen, ever. Edited by guest: 6/4/2010 10:16:57 AM

Bit of a bump.
Anyways the Round 8 results from tonight.
Marconi 0-0 Blacktown City Demons The top of the table clash has ended in a 0-0 stalemate which sees Blacktown stay on top on 18 points and Marconi in second on 17.
Sutherland Sharks 0-3 Bankstown Lions Another bad result for the defending champions who find themselves languishing in 10th place.
Bonnyrigg White Eagles 1-1 Manly United Bonnyrigg fail to take advantage of the Blacktown - Marconi stalemate and stay in 3rd place on 15 points.
Good results from a Sydney United POV with u given the chance to go 1 point off the top with a win tomorrow against APIA.
Games tomorrow: Sydney Olympic (11th) vs West Sydney Berries (9th) 3pm Belmore Sports Ground
South Coast Wolves (8th) vs Rockdale City Suns (5th) 3pm WIN Stadium
Sydney United (4th) vs APIA Leichhardt Tigers (12th) 4pm Sydney United Sports Centre
So with only 6 points separating 5th-12th spot it's setting up to be another cracking season.

Bonnyrigg's goalkeeper was stretchered off and and Manly always tend to be a hard game for the white eagles and they weren't at there best tonight but a nice crowed i must say maybe around 700 - 1000 spectators
