It did drag on a little, but that should get better as the season goes on.
Good stuff. Made some good signings. I'd be happier if I could remember their names.

 Yay I spent half of my transfer money on a 3RD goalie that I don't need. He will come in handy in the future no doubt but doubt we will get that far lol. I gots Tolgay Ozbey though! His stats lie though. He is always really good.

FUCK YOU FOOTBALL MANAGER 2009. ARGHHH. I scabbed a 0-0 draw at Barcelona in the first leg of the quarter final. They come to Old Trafford. We completely dominate the first half but what do you know? They score from a corner in the 30th minute. THAT WAS THEIR ONLY SHOT ON TARGET. We pumped them for the rest of the game and Tevez missed from a metre out. We had 30 shots to their 6 with 13 on target to their ONE. The keepers are way too good in this game. He saved stupid stuff. It's illogical for a person to do that. They even got Henry sent off in the 70th and we still couldn't fucking score and I was attacking all out with 2 strikers and 4 AM's from 60min onwards! We hit the bar in the first ten minutes 3 fucking times! FMD.

Did I miss anything when I left?

We should try and get as much done in the hols because us kids will have school again in 2 weeks and won't be able to stay up till 12 or 1. Well I won't be atleast

LOL. If Blakroz wanted to pay him 4/5k that's his problem  He's wasting salary cap space IMO.

^Dont jinx it afro. I signed Keirrison after finding out he had an expiring contract I had been flirting with him in the media for ages which he responded to very well, in January I made some reasonable bids that i knew would be rejected and at the same time if they werent I would get the player for a decent price but if they werent he would be pissed, naturally they turned them down and he was very pissed off and went nuts in the press saying he wanted to join United. Anyway I dropped the occasional admiration to the press for the remaining six months of his contract and he kept refusing every extension they pushed under his nose, declaring that he was unhappy at the club I was listed amongst his favoured personal. It got to the end of his contract and alot of other clubs had taken notice because he had had an awesome season scoring 23 in 25 and had an average rating of about 7.8. I offered Cortiba 1.5 mill and they accepted rather than wait another week or two and lose him on a free. So next season Miguel Veloso and Keirrison will join my squad and I have had an offer accepted for a decent French defender Matthieu after he was offered for 2.7, about six or seven other clubs most notably Porto and Milan have also had offers accepted but I am hoping to offer him the best contract, he isnt great but he is very good cover for Evra if he injures himself again

My first season ended yesterday also and after lingering between 7th and 5th for the majority of the season I managed to clinch second place 13 behind Arsenal, 9 in front of Liverpool and 11 in front of Tottenham. I had a tough schedule for my last month playing Tottenham, City, Liverpool and Chelsea in the league, all four of them were in the top 7. I had a very good month before hand after finally stringing some form together I carried it into the Tottenham match beating them 4-1 with goals to Valencia, Tevez x2 and Nani. It took a Ronaldo wonder goal late into the mtach to see off City as he beat almost the entire defence to score from an accute angle. I then beat Liverpool 3-1 with Berbatov gifting me an early lead before Keane pulled one back to even things at half time, the second half saw Valencia score a curling free kick before teeing up Anderson for his first of the season a few minutes later. Ronaldo scored a similar goal ala City against Chelsea on five minutes before Cole made things level against the run of play but Darren Fletcher popped up with what turned out to be ruuner up in goal of the season with a stunning 35 yard curling top corner effort to clinch victory for me and a great end to the season. If I had to rank a top 5 players for me this season it would be 1-Antonio Valencia, was my second highest scorer, equal for assists and had the highest average. He could always be relied upon to perform. 2-Darren Fletcher, the central midfielder forced his way into my 11 for want of a defensive minded midfielder, he impressed and was undroppable in the second half of the season scoring crucial gaols against big teams like Chelsea, Bayern and Madrid. He was the only regular face in CM as Carrick, Anderson, Scholes and Hargreaves vied for the other spot. 3-Edwin Van Der Saar, achieved more man of the matches than any of my other players and often got points out of matches I didnt deserve to take the points out of when I was struggling for form, my exit from the ECL coincided with his injury, so did my worst run of results. 4-Rio Ferdinand, the only player in my squad to take a place in the team of the season, was a rock in defence and could always be relied on to lead the defence which was subsequently the best in the EPL. 5-Carlos Tevez, last but not least the Argentine led the goal scoring charts and was the only forward to reach double figures. Tevez played well against the big teams and weighed in well with his goal haul which were more often then not very imporatnt goals. Officialy Tottenham's Angelo Palombo was crowned EPL player of the year with Manchetser City's Marek Hamsik earning young player of the year

Remember ALEXSANDER VRTESKI WHO WON'T PLAY A GAME. Oh and remember Tolgay Ozbey. He will rip it up. He always does. Although tbh i would have preferred Luka Glavas.

Remember Spencer Prior. He'll rip the league apart.

What also screwed me over was not knowing who i should be looking for.
Everyone was signing all these gun free agaents etc, and I was looking at EPL teams rosters.

Quote:Everyone was signing all these gun free agaents etc, and I was looking at EPL teams rosters. You should be looking in brazil if you've got the free foreign player spots. Also look in the K-Lague. Quote:I was about to sign Josh Mitchell on loan when someone joined the chase and he changed his mind. I haven't even looked at him yet. That was just a game-generated rumour. It does give me an idea though. Thanks for that, I'll have the best defence in the league with Rose, Mitchell, Vargas and Kemp. Quote:Is anyone other than me and s_f up for it again tonight?, I reckon if we knuckle down we can get to the season. I'm up for it if you guys want.
