If one of your players is in it then it will be sent to you in an email. If not, it's usually in the news section.

:lol: It depends who you play, but generally yes. Sometimes bad form in pre-season can turn into good form in normale season and vice versa.

Finished the season in 6th despite that not sounding terribly good I am actually happy as for the majority of the season I have struggled to 1-0 wins and losses but in the last two months I changed my tactics and I think if I carry that form over to the new season I will make top 4 as my form for the last two months was the second best in the EPL which was won by Villa on the final day.
Mathias Fernandez and Saivet will join me soon, I haven't received my transfer budget yet but depending on how much I get I might make a bid for a new GK like Asenjo. I am planning on taking an International role if a good one becomes available, last year I had Croatia and Portugal offered to me but stupidly I turned them both down.

I just had a gun 19 y.o Spanish regen offered to me on a free, his stats were awesome, better than Javi Martinez who I payed 21 mil for the last season, he accepted Villareal's offer though. I also had Rossi offered for 13mil but I rejected as I already have enough strikers

OK I just got a 70mil transfer budget and used 1.5 to sign a gun young Argentinian regen GK who is already on par with Foster and has the potential to be way better. Suggestions on how to spend would be nice please, the squad looks like this

Yeah, Agreed. with that much, you should be able to pick up any keeper in the game. Sell Foster, Buy a new keeper, and keep training that Argie kid as back up. Other than that, looks fine, maybe another Centre Back would be good.

I'd be looking for a 3rd world class centre back, with another LB if you can afford it.

If your going to sell Foster, get Asenjo. One of the first I alwasy get in my games. I would have him at Inter if I didn't buy him when I was at manc lol.

Don't know what to do. Left my save a game into the Russian season at Amkar, as I'd just lost all interest in it. Could tell Amkar weren't gelling with my tactics at all, and so figured I'd give FM a break. I want to start up again, but I'm still not that interested in Amkar. Should I stick it out with them, or start a new game entirely?

Ireland October Update:
Only two games this month.

Albania 0-0 Ireland (Euro)

In the leadup to this game I found out Keane had been injured and would miss both games :(

Absolutely dominated against Albania. Had two cleared off the line and was very unlucky not to score. But, thats football, and at least I stayed undefeated.

Then played Holland at home, and even with my Home advantage they were clear favourites. And I saw why, being under the pump early and going down to a 6th minute RVP goal. Was perhaps lucky to get into HT at 0-1.

Ireland had picked up a knock, so I moved Mcgeady to the right flank, pushed Kilbane up from LB to LM, and brought on young left back Alan Sheehan.
It paid off 2minutes into the second half. Kilbane strode forward, went around his man and tried to cross the ball in. It took a deflection off his marker and flew towards the near post. Stekelenberg came across to try and push it clear, but pushed it into the post, off his body, and in. OG. 1-1, 47mins.

Didnt last long however, Wesley Sneijder SLAMMING one home from 30 yards in the 51st minute to make it 2-1.

On about 70mins I came out really attacking, and started to DOMINATE possession. Started creating a few half chances and thought I might sneak a goal. O'Toole smashed one against the woodwork on 83mins and I thought it might just be not my day.

With the last roll of the dice, I brought on Daryl Murphy on 85mins. And once again, it paid off. Two minutes later, Daryl Murphy cut inside from the left flank, (once again being Hollands undoing), went around one, two, and then launched a screamer from the edge of the box into the far corner. 2-2, 87mins.

I had another big chance in stoppage time and Murphy almost made it an incredible double salvo, but 2-2 was a good enough result.

Great month, bar that disappointing loss to Spurs. I got Manager of the month. Lopez player of the month, with Tales in 2nd

Argentina beat Brazil on penalties in the Copa America final after it finished 2-2 in normal time with two of my players Tevez and Anderson scoring all four goals. Signed Asenjo for 19 mil in the end, Sakho on the other hand wasnt cheap and cost 45mil

I usually get Asenjo a lot cheaper than that. Haven't paid over 8mil for him yet. He is worth the 19mil however.

It depends. I have training schedules for all my players, because my tactics require certain skills to be high, and so my training increases those skills. Otherwise, the 'General' schedule that always starts seems fine, unless you really know what you're doing.
