Speaking of which, I just sealed the title. Torres bagged 40 goals in the league alone. Magnificent season to say the least. Sponsorship should be impressive when the new deals come up for the new season. PM me your e-mail address and I'll send it off.

Im pretty sure im getting the game on tuesday so i cant wait :d I will probably start off as NQF in the A-League as a challenge first off. If i ever play in England ill prbably try and work my way up with AFC Wimbledon
The last management game i played heaps was CM4 which was good as and i did play FM2007 a bit but once my season got deleted after promotion i never got into it again. How much better will FM2010 be than those games and how different will it be to them?
Cheers guys looking forward to some constant posting on this thread in the near future \:d/

You can call press conferences when you make a signing now and there's pregame press conferences (you'll send your assistant for most, it gets a little repatative doing it 60 odd times a season), there's a complete layout revamp and obviously the 3d match engine. That's just a few of the things off the top of my head. I haven't made it far enough in to make much of the regen process, but I thought FM07 was the best that SI have achieved so far and FM10 lives up to that.

Lol I was linked to a job at City while at Leverkusen. Leverkusen was annoying me so I decided to apply for the job and got it. I looked at their squad...They have world class players like Milyevski, Vagner Love, Mattock, Zhirkov, Richards, Corluka. I was wondering wtf someone could have done to have them sitting in 13th, 2 points off the relegation zone. The I realised. All those players are in their mid 30's  Still all have great stats though.

My first three games are as follows: Beat Tottenham 4-1, drew 2-2 Blackburn, lost 4-1 Liverpool. And I'm getting a shit load of injuries. Struggling to get a decent squad. I suppose that's what you get with old fucks.

Do you think its way better than the 2d or you prefer the 2d because its easier to use?

3D has improved a lot from 09 to 10. I still tend to use 2D, but that's more so because I prefer the top down camera view, than anything against the actual 3D itself. It basically comes down a lot to personal preference.

Rooney is in fine form with me at the moment, defences just cant handle him he has 21 goals in 23 games and 18 assists and he has scored in almost all of the big games including a recent hattrick against a second placed Manchester City. I am sitting top of the table about 11-12 points clear from City in mid January still undefeated an only drawn once, Cheslea third on GD with City and Spurs not too far behind in 4th, Villa and Everton sitting 5th and 6th, Arsenal 7th and Liverpool 11th. Just finished my ECL group and have been drawn against Milan in the next round which isnt ideal but I think I have ehat it takes to beat them. Berbatov has 7 ECL goals in 3 appearances, Owen 6 from 3 and Rooney 8 from 5

Had an epic FA Cup semi-final replay against Man Utd in 08 on my Arsenal game. Went down 0-2 in the first 14 minutes to a Rooney double. Then brought on Eduardo for a 4-3-3 to play upfront with Aguero and RVP. Was attacking the whole first half then Clichy scores in first half injury time and from the kick off David Silva gets the ball from the kick off and makes it 2-2 at half time. Aguero then put in a free kick in the 49th minute to make it 3-2. Was then defending and hanging on just until Fabregas scores after a beautiful through ball by Arshavin in the 73rd minute and makes it 4-2. Rooney scored his third in the 84th minute and in the 88th minute Fabianski saves a Tevez penalty to keep me infront. Man Utd then hit the post 3 fucking times in injury time as I hold on for a win in a classic.
Got Spurs in the Final:twisted:

Not that it makes that much difference. Though in 2d it's easier to see if yoru guys are sticking to a rigid formation (if you told them to play that way). Just won the Champions League final over Chelsea 2-1 (Torres 1, 4) after smashing them 7-2 in the FA Cup.

Just beat Liverpool in the FA Cup final 2-1 thanks to Alberto Paloschi. His tally of goals is now 43 for the season. He also scored a double as I beat Arsenal in the ECL on penalties
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Just had the most frustrating 3-3 draw with Arsenal. I absolutely dominated it but went down 2-0 both goals on the counter attack, one from long range and both the only shots on target for the half. I was missing Fletcher and Ferdinand who have been two of my best but I was dominating but my defence might as well not have bothered showing up thats how woefull they were. VDV passed a quick free kick to Di Maria who smashed it top corner to put me one behind at the break but Evra was then red carded and Rooney injured. I put Macheda on for Rooney and he leveled the scores with his first touch. Di Maria then put Berba one on one and he slotted home to put me 3-2 up with 20 minutes left and Arsenal had barely seen the ball before the 94th minute when Foster was sent off some stupid reason and then Bendtner scored the resulting penalty. Turnds out Rooney is gone for three months too but luckily I am in January and I managed to selloff dead wood to raise the funds to sign David Villa who is not cup tied so he will be able to represent me in the ECL. Villa made his debut with a brace and a MOM as well so hopefully this makes up for missing Rooney and at least Berba is in form too

OK, so it's the world cup. Australia have made it out of their group containing Spain, Switzerland and Algeria. So lets play "Who's going to win?"
The games are: Paraguay v France Italy v England Czech Republic v Ivory Coast Germany v South Africa Argentina v Mexico Portugal v Brazil Australia v Holland Spain v Tunisia
Make your picks. Answers to come in a bit.

5/8's alright. I'm tempted to say Aus won but I doubt it. I'll say Mexico won and China is hosting 2018.
