Ok i finally got the game \:d/ and im managing North Queensland but am struggling big time.
Lost 3 friendlies so far. 5-0 to Bayern and twice to state league sides ](*,) and both Wehrman and Rose have big price tags so i cant buy them.
To make manners worse i accidently released Stewart Petrie (player/assistant man) and lost 120k from it :oops: and he doesnt want to come back :oops:

The game suddenly introduces the homegrown rule for english clubs in 2011 on you and I'm stuck trying to balance a 38m budget filling out my squad with english players. It's a pain. Especially when I just spent 17m on Gourcuff.

Finished in 3rd place at the Asian Cup with Australia. We only conceded one goal and that happened to be the one that mattered in our 1-0 lose to Iran in the semi final.

Ive had a good 48 hours of FM.

Beat Milan 4-1 agg in ECL RO16
Smashed Lyon in the ECL quarter final 6-1 at home then I won 2-0 away 8-1 agg.
Drew Real Madrid in the Semis and won the first leg at home 1-0
Beat Liverpool 3-1 in FA Cup 4th round
Beat Arsenal in the FA Cup semi final 3-2, City will be joining me in Wembley for an interesting match, they are the only team to beat me this season and that was in LC
Beat Liverpool 2-1 in EPL
Beat Chelsea 2-0 in EPL.
And I just wrapped up the EPL with plenty of games left to play and the team is doing very well especialy Rafael Van der Vaart who has had an amazing month scoring and assisting like crazy including scoring against Arsenal, Milan, Lyon, Liverpool twice and twice against Spurs, most of these have been amazing goals too from range and several Rooneyesque volleys

and i want to be able to build a 3 year campaing, but not longer then 5.
i don't want to be the best team
but i want to be able to finish in the top 5
and have media predicion of top half

i'd prefer spain, england, italy, germany, or australia.

LEEDS FTW. Speaking of Leeds ill give a bit of a roundup on my season. Its now 2015 and where sitting 8th in the league with 10 games to go. Went through an injury crisis which knocked 3 out of my 5 midfielders out, Marouane Fellaini being out for 5 months. Made the first knockout stage of the ECC and have been drawn against Marseille. Won the away leg 3-2 and feeling pretty confident we can go into the next round. In the FA Cup im in the semi finals after demolshing Man Utd 7-1 in the quarters.

Just finished my season in 08. Won the FA Cup 3-1against Chelsea in the final after I beat Spurs 7-1 in the Semis:lol: :lol: :lol: . Finished 2nd 4points behind Chelsea. Man Utd finished in 8th:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: .

Went to Euro with Spain won all my group games. Beat England 3-2 in the quarters then Italy 4-1 in the semis and beat France 5-3in the Final AET with a Villa Hattrick.

WTF? David Villa has a last five games rating of 6.32 but he has scored six goals in those five games. Maybe a glitch I suppose and speaking of them I keep getting offered the Nigeria job and the are WCQ so I keep accepting but I get asked over and over again

Have you guys downloaded the recent patch? I know they just released one a couple days ago. I know you can't download it Fredsta but Afro have you?

Im still getting the messages, if it doesnt allow me to accept before the WC I will just add a user and take them over that way but hopefully Argentina pops up before then lol

Re: Villa; he could have been sent off in one game, bringing his average rating down. Also, you can score a goal and still only have a rating of 6.8. I know Torres had eight goals in five games and only a rating of 7.2 at one period.

As for the national side thing. I've been having the same problem. The 10.1.0 patch fixes it. It can be downloaded here

Nah Villa hasnt been sent off and has been averaging low 7's at least so far I think he has only dipped into the 6's twice

So basically he's scoring, but he's not playing well. It's not unheard of.

I just played my season opener against Everton. Disappointing 1-0 win. Forgot to make any substitutions though :lol:

FM10 is the first in the series I've lost interest in within 3 months.....too many bugs and realism is shot due to that. The amount of matches where teams substitute GK's who aren't injured in the 1st half is ridiculous. Or players subbed on and off before playing 1 minute.
I had a game I won in ET, after match it showed I'd won 10-9 on pens and fans weren't happy. Nations sacking managers during World Cup, Brazil replaced Dunga for the semi-final WTF?
The next proper patch better make some huge changes or FM10 will become a coaster.

The bugs are largely fixed with the 10.1.1 patch that came out this week. Especially the match engines one. There's two pages of match engine changes.

No he is playing VERY well averaging 8.12 but who cares its insignificant.

I just had the most epic FM session ever last night as I confirmed the treble.

Started off with my my last EPL game against Arsenal which I won 2-1
Then I played City in the FA Cup final and won 3-2 in a very close game, both of us had goals disalowed and I had a Brown sent off. Villa got MOM with two goals.

Then I played an epic ECL final against Chelsea. I went behind in the first half after a Drogba goal and as it looked like Chelsea was going to win 1-0 David Silva cut through the Chelsea defence and found Rooney who burst past Terry and smashed home to put it 1-1 in the 88th minute and take the game to extra time in the spirit of 99. Chelsea kickd off the first half and Wayne Rooney intercepted the kick off and beat the entire defence before finding Villa in front of an empty net to put me at 2-1. Rooney didnt stop there as he wrekaed havoc on the defence and was brought down viciously by Bosingwa. A free kick was awarded and Vidic got up to nod home VDV's free kick and make it 3-1 at FT.

I picked up manager of the season by 911 points from Hughes and I finished the season with a win record of 90%.
Torres got POTS with Berbatov strangley being my only representation in the top three.
Di Maria got YPOTS and Evans got third.
Foster, Evra, Ferdinand, VDV, Di Maria and Rooney made team of the season. Berbatov and Valencia made the bench.

Rooney won the players player despite missing three months. He also won ECL Golden Boot with 14 goals in nine games, Torres was second with 11 in 10 and Villa ended with 10 in 7.

I'm just picking through various junior sides picking up the best youth I can find at the moment. I've already signed all my major signings for the window. Need to get up my HG quota for the next couple of years though so I'm trying to pick up as many kids as possible.

Im pretty right with the HG at the moment, so far my only transfer dealing is the signing of Riquelme on a free transfer. Im hoping to strengthen the team with a good RB but I havent been given my budget yet and I devoured last seasons budget and then some so I may have to do some selling before I can buy
