Australia is a given but Germany has been my nation as i am a descendant of the fatherland since I ws a child.
1st game is going to be a true stickler for me. glad to be sitting in my lounge room alone for this one.

Exactly.If Italy had won 3-0 (and let's face it they/we could have)it would have hurt but I would have just been proud australia got that far. It was the cruelty that will haunt me forever Its funny...Untill '06 I only EVER referred to Italy as "we" yet now sometimes a "they" slips out when referencing "that" game Edited by davide82: 28/4/2010 04:08:32 PM

I have always had a liking for the Netherlands, I'm not connected to them in any way or form but I like them as a footballing nation and respect a lot of their players plus their football is easy on the eye
