VdV under-rated massivley... played with liverpool for a month or so then tried Spurs... Joe Cole is awesome and Poulsen isn't bad, Bale isn't as good as he should be, get the patches... im really annoyed watching the game, like the screen doesn't automatically change from the split view to match screen, it just comes up on the left of the split screen and i have to click and change and then it automatically changes from key highlights to whole game, really annoying

with the press confrences... like does it achieve anything, like it can have a minor role in firing up your team or your opponent and when your trying to sign a player but besides that whats the use of it unless your playing a community game?

Press conferences can have an effect on an individual player or your side, it depends what you say. I just send my Ass Man all the time, I've haven't taken a conference since about a week after I bought FM.

Played untill the end of the Demo, Just tried to fire Jason Culina and lost the whole dressing room, sitting in 5th with the board unhappy.

Can't wait to try to pull myself out of that when the full version comes out.

EPIC WIN
beat Arsenal 4-3 with Spurs at the Emirates, went down 1-0, lead 2-1 at Half Time (VdV scoring his first goal for the club with a piledriver), Arshavin ripped me apart early in the second and scored a double and were up 3-2 on the 60min mark, then two goals late on one from Santa Cruz after a Bale run and then a scrap in the box and it falling to Modric GET IN THERE

I only take them for key matches. But they're a drag if you have to do them every freaking week before and after the games.

So far enjoying the demo. Definitely offers a few different and additional things that I've found quite enjoyable. Being able to train your squad to use different formations is a plus, also the 'dialogue' you can have with the media and players. The improved graphics certainly help matters too.

Have just been mucking around with Arsenal at the moment, game keeps crashing on me when I tab out though which is utterly annoying.

Finished 3 games in the demo so far.

First as Manchester United, bought Eden Hazard from Lille, and Mirko Vucinic from Roma (83 million lol), and sold some shitty reserve players, as well as letting Park Ji Sung go to Bayern for a 6m loan fee.

Playing an attack 4-2-3-1, We're first in the EPL a point ahead of Tottenham, then Chelsea, Everton and Liverpool (Arsenal are in 12th). Shocking ECL draw though, got Real Madrid in the group stage, but still came 2nd, then drew Barca as our first KO opponent in a few months.

Second was Manchester City. Bought Hazard (40.5) again, Giorgi Chiellini (68m), Mexes (10m) and Srna (48.5m.) Played a ridiculously attacking 4-4-2 Diamond (using Wingbacks, and Attacking Wingers set as Inside Forwards, it makes the top half look like an M, and the bottom half look like a W), very fluid, attacking, direct, expression and pressing. Swept the entire staff clean and replaced them with top quality guys.

My managers so far have been ex-international, so the board basically bow down to me, I managed to get them to buy the Stadium, and I've got another 85 million to spend in the Jan transfer window. Currently first in the EPL, ahead of Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham (Man Utd are in 11th in this game).

Third, as Real Madrid. Have lost 1 game in all competitions, that being Manchester United in the last CL group stage match. Currently 1st in the league, 46 points, 15 wins, 1 draw, with Barca on 39 with 12 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss (against us).

Didn't touch the backroom stuff this time around. Sold Mahamadou Diarra and Alvaro Arbeloa for 6.5m each, bought Dzeko and Hazard (again, although he was out for a few months after a pre-season injury). Arbeloa was because I was going to try a formation I wouldn't need as much defenders, but I probably should've kept him. Tried to sign Chiellini for the Jan window, but Juventus wanted 80 million or some shit, so I signed Jose Enrique from Newcastle for 18 mil, and Cesar Azpilicueta for 30m.

Dunno if I'll start another game until the game's released on Friday.

Installed the demo, haven't played much though, just had a look at the Celtic squad. Haven't had much interest in FM for about a month now, not sure why.

I've been finding it hard to keep motivated in FM10 too but hopefuully 11 is better

Finished my first season with Leeds, won League One by a point to Millwall. Also won the JPT. The summer before my season started in the Championship i went about totally rebuilding the squad, signing 14 players in one window. Most notable signing was Amr Zaki, who has provided 17 goals in 31 games so far. Have also brought Obertan in on loan from Man Utd, hes been a gun with an average rating of 7.89.

Just after the January transfer window im sitting 2nd, 2 points behind first, and 3 points ahead of third. Feeling quietly confident about my chances of back to back promotions.

Also became manager of Australia, only played a few games with them so far. Australia have been blessed with two gun regens, Nathan Bresciano and Anthony Davidson. Bresicaino is a striker for the Newcastle Jets, who will be joining me at Leeds in the next transfer window, and Davidson is a central midfielder/defensive midfielder.

Can you install it yet though?
