Probably going to have left QPR by the end of this current season. Either by choice at the end of the season, or by force when I don't match the boards expectations: Quarter Finals of the ECL (Only the 2nd time we've ever entered the competition) Title Challenge in EPL Semi Final FA Cup Semi Final Carling Cup
It's going to be hard walking away from the astonishing amounts money the club give me for players. But that board is just too ridiculous. Only way I'll end up staying is if I become a club legend and win everything. Gonna give it a shot:p

Nantwich - League Two 2017/2018 Media Prediction - 23rd out of 24. Actual Position - 1st. Transfer wise there was some activity in hiring some high potential players, and selling off a half-dozen players no longer required. In was £14k, out gave us £115k back. Another quickly played Season, we got off to an absolute flyer, immediately hitting a 5 game winning streak that left us in 1st, a minor dip during the first set of cup matches dropped us down to our lowest point of 4th, before we climbed back up to 1st. We ended up ahead by 14 points, on 94 Point, 29W 7D 10L - 98 For, 59AG, +39GD. We didn't surrender the position. We stayed on top the entire season, pulling a gap of at least 12 points for pretty much the entire season. A run of bad injuries threatened to hurt our promotion bid, we lost and drew games we normally would have won, but in the end the injury hit passed, our first choice squad came back, and we powered through to the title, winning the League with 5 games to spare. We had a bad draw in the League Cup, home to Newcastle who defeated us 2-1. At that point, with the board simply saying to enjoy the experience, I decided I didn't really want to impact on a title tilt with a JPT cup run that could result in over half a dozen games extra. I chucked a the reserves and youth team for the Paint Trophy, and promptly lost 0-1 in the first round to Morecambe. The FA Cup started with a 4-1 hammering of fellow League Two side Cheltenham, then came to an end via a 3-1 loss away to League One Charlton. The board were supportive enough this season, they gave me a variety of my requests including: More physios (I have 3) Scouts (two requests, resulting in a max of 9 which are currently filled). Increased scouting (resulting in the ability to scout the entire world). Our Training Facilities were upgraded towards the end of last season, and we now have Fairly Basic Training facilities. And importantly, a Youth Academy. Which they then cancelled after the last game of the season due to lack of funds. They have yet to approve any upgrade to our Youth Facilities or Stadium, or any more upgrades to the training. We will almost surely require stadium expansion in the near future, our average this year was 3,200. Our stadiums capacity is 3,500 (300 seated). Season League League Finish Other Notes

Can't he just get a editor file for FM10 that has this seasons squads in it? I know that's what I did when I was playing FM10.

Only way I'll end up staying is if I become a club legend and win everything. Gonna give it a shot:p And the inevitable happened. Left in November, just couldn't be bothered dealing with the board. Every match was high pressure, seemed like we needed to win every single one just to keep the board happy. Stayed unemployed for the rest of the season, and the start of the next season, until simultaneously taking on the Uruguyan and Bristol Rover's job. Bristol have dropped down to BSP, so it's an even longer challenge than when I usually take over them in FM. For some comparison of just how far I dropped: QPR Transfer Budget: 55m Bristol Transfer Budget: 0 QPR Wage Budget: 2.2m Bristol Wage Budget: 7.5k QPR Wages: 1.8m Bristol Wages: 8.5k :lol:

If we do this challenge thing, do we all need to have the same prior managerial experience and favourite team etc.

The thing with FM10 is that FC Twente aren't reigning champions in 2010... Quote:If we do this challenge thing, do we all need to have the same prior managerial experience and favourite team etc. Same level of experience, but you can have whatever favourite clubs.

The rules: 1. You START at FC Twente in the Dutch Eredevisie. 2. Your REPUTATION is Semi-Professional level. 3. You CAN have two nationalities if you see fit. 4. Your favourite club CAN be wherever you want. 5. You can NOT accept the first APPROACH for your services at another club or at international level, even if it's your favourite club. APPLYING for these jobs is allowed though. 6. You CAN manage an international side at the same time as your domestic side. 7. Holidaying IS permitted 8. Rage quitting is NOT permitted. 9. One profile per game save.
Good Luck.
Can one of the mods change the thread title so that people a) know what's going on and b) can find the rules?
The following leagues are open: - England down to League 2 - Spain down to Second Division B - Italy to Serie B - Germany to B2 - France to Ligue 2 - Holland to Eerste Divisie - Portugal to First Division - A-League, Russia, Scotland, MLS, Greece, Turkey, Argentina, Brazil and Belgium top flights.

Edited to include the leagues. Did I miss anything that people think should be included or include something that people thing is excessive?

Should just be overall career. Start at the same place, and then go forth and conquer. What's with rule 5?

That kinda defeats the purpose of a challenge then. When I put the idea up I meant that you stay with the one club until you get sacked.

Oh, if they want to do that, sure. I don't mind that. I just prefer it over a whole career. Makes it more in depth to compare etc. But yeah, I get that whole thing of just one club.

It stops people jumping ship at the first chance they get and increases the requirement for prolonged success in order to have a successful career instead of a couple of good games and they jump ship first season at Twente to manage Munich or something crazy like that. Measure of 'success' will be based around your 'hall of fame' points in the game and how many trophies you win. I'll keep track of that if people want, keep a table with seasons, trophies, 'hall of fame' points and points per trophy.
