Just got promoted to the EPL with Bristol Rovers. Also about to go into bankruptcy, due to having to spend 4.5m to expand the stadium to League regulations. Ah well. Was nice while it lasted.

That said, the 40m from the EPL eases the pain just a tad.

Yeah, that 40m in TV rights is handy (well, unless the division drops down the ranking list, in my game the EPL is currently third, and I only get 33m for TV rights). Plus the prize money is decent.

I go to make two major signings.
A new defensive mid. And a new keeper.
I found a 4 star player for each. Much better than my existing players. 13 million for each.
The keeper tore his calf muscle the day I offered the contract, but I didn't realise until after the guy had been rejected for a WP, then won the appeal, then finally signed. Failed medical, transfer cancelled.
The MC waited and waited and waited and waited. Then signed for Lyon on less money.
And now my star striker has just strained his knee and will be out for 2 months. Fuck.

I've got a consortium looking to take over Atletico Madrid and there's talk that they want to replace me (Despite me bringing success to the club)...does anyone know if there's a way of requesting a stay of execution or keeping my job?

Pure luck I think it comes down to... Survived in our first EPL season, comfortably in the end by 6 points from relegation. But we were in the shit fight all season, never above 14th after September.

If you keep winning you should be fine.
If you've had long-term success you should be fine.

Three consecutive league titles enough? I'm under transfer embargo so the deal must be close.

Won the Confed Cup with Morocco.
Group contained France (4-4), Cook Islands (6-0) and Iran (3-1). Then beat USA 3-1 in the Semi, and drew 3-3 with Russia in the final, winning on penalties.

Would have been better if they scored tbh. Board takeover is complete. They poured 45m into the club up front but the new owner is some German flog Werner Ross, Thorsten Gunther, Deniz Meyer and Fritz Hilpert (I lol'd, Hilpert is a member of Kraftwerk). FM wrote:New Chairman Werner Ross has thanked you for your patience during what has undoubtedly been a stressful time for those involved with the club.
Ross informs you that money has been invested in developing the training ground and that a further 48.5m has been pumped into the club's coffers.
Ross has added however that it was always his intention to appoint a new manager following the takeover and a decision on your future will be made shortly. I think I'll be out of a job at the end of the month :(

I got told that once, and then they decided that because I'd done so well for the club, he had been convinced to let me stay. So you've still got hope.

Under the "Chairman Status" in the boardroom it says "Werner Ross is considering your future at the club." I'm hoping that I can keep the job and get big investment and take the squad to the next level, have a real tilt at the ECL title.

I got told he was looking for a new manager but then he said the support I had from the fans and players convinced him to keep me.

Got bored as hell at Twente so resigned. Ended up taking the Deportivo job. Dead last in La Liga, 17 points from safety with 13 games to go. If I pull this off I am a hero. First game was home to Sevilla and I won 2-1 which was epic. I have like 8 ineligible players. I have no idea why, but they assigned all their squad numbers or something so I have players that have been signed on big wages, and are high quality, and I can't fucking play them. My only eligible striker is John Carew ](*,)
