Lukaku having another beast of a season, 10 league games played so far 16 goals. 16 games in all competitions, 21 goals.

It annoys me that you can encourage a player to shy away from using their non-preferred foot, but you can't encourage them to practice with it.

Does anybody know how on earth FM calculates a club's value?

Atletico Madrid: Top Corporate facilities, Top training facilities, Excellent youth facilities + Academy, Well established youth recruitment. 73,000 all-seater stadium with 67,000 average attendance. Value: 513m.

Does the game add the loan debt onto the actual value of the club to give the 'value' figure?

I think it also takes into account the value of players at the club.

They could have a lot of unspent money.

They've got a generous chairman...but he's not putting as much money into their club as Warner is into mine. Their transfer budget this season was 55m...mine was over 100m.

I'm losing around 8m/month, they're losing around 3m/month, but my losses are counteracted by the sponsorship deals at the club worth in excess of 80m.

Started a new save, set my past experience to Sunday League. Loaded as many leagues as I could and picked a random club. Got African Warriors in the South African First Division - Coastal. Not a lot of decent players, but compared to the rest of my league, I think I can do well.

Decent wage budget considering the league, and a 22k transfer budget. Probably going to rely on loans from the top division and free transfers to get me through the season.

Only 8 teams in my division, media predict 5th for me. Play each team four times, top team qualifies for Playoff, 2nd qualifies for Playoff Semi-Final. Bottom team is relegated.

Played my first friendly with the Warriors. 2 minutes in, goalkeeper gets injured. He's the only one in the squad so I put the most agile of my players in goal.

Lost 2-1, which I thought was a pretty decent result considering.

The worst news is that the keeper is out for at least 3 months. Fuuuuuuuu-
