England will never win the world cup again. They are a tribal bunch of oafs who have been squabbling amongst themselves for over a millennium. This squabbling eventually resulted in the creation of the game of football. This in turn allowed them to continue their warfare and still have time to go to the pub (and the chippie afterwards).

Now don't get me wrong I have a very soft spot for the UK, some of my ancestors came from there (not by their own choice though). But really ... they can't stop fighting each other long enough to put together a 'team' that can win a tournament.

So while they might have a good team on paper, that bit of paper would probably be put to better use wrapping up a bag of chips.
