My Celtic squad is 10x better then any other SPL club and a top squad in Europe but I still can't get easy wins in the SPL?

Took over Dergview in the Northern Ireland First Division Predicted to finish last. Currently 8th out of 14 in the league and just knocked out Coleraine who are third in the Premier Division in the Cup with a 3-0 win.

Change your pre-game talk and change what you're saying in the pre-game press conferences. There's no such thing as an 'easy' team to manage.

When I managed Celtic I found that Hearts and Hibs were always tough to beat away. Don't go out there and expect to walk over them. Play 'Counter', it's what I did and it worked pretty well.

Just started a new save with Hellas Verona. God, Serie B is fucked. Having to rely on free transfers and loan signings. Snapped up a few good'uns though, should be a push for promotion ahead.

Does FM often create players in pairs. On my ipod version to Aussie players both with the last name steele turned up. Both good players (7.6million 27yr old and 3.6million 23yr old). It is only 2014 but their ages suggest they have not come though youth. Have you more experienced players seen much of this.

I've found Australia seems to have a limited name set for some reason. There's not much variety outside the 'ethnic' combos the game will often bring up.

Well it depends on the player. Your scout report will tell you whether the player will get it or not. Another easy way to check is to look at the 'Personal' tab on the player page. If they have a second nationality that is an EU nationality they will get it. OR if they have played over 70% of their nations matches in the last few years OR if their Current/Potential ability is on the high end of the 'good Premier League player' or a 'leading EPL player', in which case you get special dispensation.

nhub24 wrote:Any ideas on a club? Didn't you ask this question like just last week? Start a save with Shamrock Rovers, I just spent an awesome four years there, it's easy on the domestic front but quite a fun challenge to get them into Europe and turn them into quite a powerful side that consistently makes the group stages in either of the two European comps like I did. Moved onto a mid table Groningen side in the Eredevisie now, hoping to turn them into a force.

Finally, it took 5 games but finally got my first win of the season thanks to a Van Der Vaart double.
Drew Cluj, Palermo and Dynamo Moscow for EL. 2-2 draw with Palermo first up.
