FM always manages some scary transfers that end up happening in real life in the past. Just now playing, I had Covic transfer to MV on a free, FM12 = aliens!

I've had teams score about six against me and I've conceded a similar number.

bought my copy yesterday off ebay for $34 inc delivery from the UK.

I think my game is broken - I had the news stream report that Scotty Mac was in fine scoring form for the national team.

You could have just bought it from Steam for $40, getting it as soon as you download it (took me less than 4 hours, and my connection is fucking horrendous).

Is it really worth saving $6?

Is there any advantage to running off the disc as opposed to steam?

I haven't noticed the other team scoring a lot of own goals but my teams have.
I had one of my centre backs score 4 in 3 games.
Whenever I have a good run without conceding a goal it always seems to end with the keeper putting the ball into his own net.

The only own goal I've copped resulted in me benching a keeper. The mong caught the ball, dropped it into the net.

I do force a few on other teams, though.

Would rather have the disk, just out of habit. I still probably have the floppy with CM93/94 when Oleg Salenko was one of about 30 foreign players you could sign, and Dave Mitchell was playing at Millwall.

Depends whether you have limited downloads or not. Steam can fuck your downloads right in the ear. But the up-side is that you don't need the disk to play the game so you're not risking scratching the disk and can re-install it if you need to rather than realising "oh fuck, I've scratched the disk to shit" when you go to put the game on a new computer. I prefer having the long collection of disk cases sitting on my shelf, personally.

I'm not sure whether it's down to offensive pressure or whether it's a bug, but I had the opposition score 4 own goals for me in 3 games. Make of that what you will.

I much prefer digital delivery, because Steam remembers your purchases and you can download again if you ever need to. What happens if you scratch a disc?

I bought a mac recently and installed steam for the first time in YEARS. I completely forgot that I had bought Half Life 2 yonks ago, and have been having fun with Team Fortress 2 over the past few weeks.

Mine are no-where near that frequent. Maybe a handful or two a season.

Bowed out of the Champions League group stage overnight with a 3-1 loss to Trabzonspor. Really disappointing, had such a good start to the campaign beating Villareal, Trabzonspor and drawing with Arsenal then having it all unravel on the other half of the group with tough, season defining games in Ligue1 against OL & Bordeaux just 2 days either side of key matches in the champions league, and that was after intentionally dropping out of the French Cup. Things are also starting to go south in the League, although everyone's morale seems up. The AI seems to catch on to your tactics a bit quicker in 2012.

Also, Chelsea are sniffing around Eden Hazard. Debating whether to sell him for 30+mil and rebuild or try to hang onto him.

Best new thing so far, the camera angles in the game, new freekick cam is sweet.

Can't say I'm happy with the camera view for corners though. It's too far out.

You have to look at your priorities then. But you can't be complaining about a game that you buy every year and aren't helping to fund the development of by bootlegging.

Luis Suarez at one point had 25 goals in 18 games for me. He now has 30 from 35 and has scored just 3 in his last 14. Don't know what the hell to do to get him scoring again.

My clean out of Real Sporting is almost complete. Gone are all the slow ancient players and in have come promising youngsters from the 2nd division, Germany and Holland.
In the a year and a half we have gone an almost certainty for relegation with the oldest squad with an average age of well over 30 to sitting 5 points off the top Barcelona in 4th halfway through the season with the youngest squad at 23.25.

Germany didn't even make it out of their group at Euro (neither did Spain) and as a result Phillipp Lahm resigned from the captaincy...Low named his replacement. A 15yo kid from Hannover who hasn't even had a cap for Germany. WTF?

They are just looking long term... :) hehe

His influence is 10 and decision making is 12. He hasn't even made a senior appearance for Hannover.
