Great start to my first full season at Espanyol. 4 games 4 wins and 10 goals. Keeps me up there with Barcelona and Real Madrid, who I play in 2 weeks time in my first big test.

The boards in FM12 are a fucking pain. Lose two games on the trot and they're unhappy with you. FUCK ME, I'm SIX POINTS CLEAR IN FIRST!

To clarify this, it's all the base images that are gone, so;

-All logos, including the basic shields they use in place of actual logos
-All the country flags that appear in the squad list, etc,
-All black shadows for players without facepacks
-All Kits

I removed the 3 files that are in the folder where you remove the fake.inc for the German Team and stuff, is that something to do with it?

Yeah, those are the files that annotate the images with the text so they appear in the right places.

EDIT: No, that didn't do it at all...

See above, didn't help at all. The place I read said the other files could be removed because they just include other restrictions. Which appears to be the case.

Have you looked on the SI Forums?

Yeah, i've been looking and googling on and off since this arvo, haven't found anyone with the same problem yet.

Make a post in the bugs forum and see if anyone gets back to you.

Did you try turning it off and on?

Yes. I even tried the baseball bat method.

Found someone else whose having the same problem, but no ones got a solution yet. Really hoping I don't have to re-download it through steam. That said, gonna be downloading it to my Laptop later this week, will be interesting to see if it happens then too.

Is it plugged into the power?

Talk into the bottom of the mouse like its a microphone, and command it what to do.

Maybe you have to buy the images separately. Try sticking your credit card in the disk drive.

Just walked in at the Half Time break, 8-0 up over Caley Thistle. Of course we walked off at Full Time still at 8-0, but 8 goals in the first half is still pretty impressive :lol:

I hate it when that happens, you've got an enormous margin and the players just take their foot off.

So it just fixed itself. Log on this morning, and the flags are back, the shields and black silhouettes. Fuckin FM.

Have at last completed my epic 2011/12 season with Blue Square North club, Bishop's Stortford. After getting off to a relatively slow start, for some reason or another it just clicked together and subsequently I came first, finishing on 96 points- 25 points clear of 2nd. :shock:

As I mentioned earlier did not spend a cent on this side, having released the majority of my initial squad and signing every player on a free transfer/off-contractee at a pathetic club.

One of my best players was indeed that of Royce Brownlie.

Against Man City in the FA Cup 3rd round only lost 2-0, much better than what I expected.

Finished off my season with winning the FA Trophy against Stockport County 2-0 at Wembley in front of 44k.

Briefly on Australia easily qualified from the WCQs round 3, and now in round 4 where I was drawn with Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE and North Korea.

Had a decent, if disappointing first season with Celtic. Seemed very much a case of so close, yet so far.

Top of our Europa League Group after 3 games with 7 points, ended it in 3rd with 8 points
Won the SPL by 4 points, but didn't beat Rangers all season
Runner up in both cups (League Cup to Killie, Scottish Cup to Rangers)

Sammy, Hooper, Mulgrew, Wilson, Matthews and Brown were all stand outs.

Decided to leave Espanyol after leading them to another 4th place finish. Figured I could not be bothered spending a fucking decade trying to usurp Barca and Real. Barca I could probably do soon, but Real are just a fucking machine.

Made it to the Champions League semis only to lose 3-1 on agg to Barca. Had a great run there with a 4-0 home win against Inter and a 5-1 away win at CSKA.

Off to the MLS now after the Portland job opened up. Currently 6th in the Western Conference but only 4 points off 3rd and not even half way through the season.

Arsene Wenger retired, and who do they get to replace him. Tony Fucking Pulis. David Moyes was sacked from Chelsea and is no City boss :lol:

Wenger was sacked first season in my game. Sacked or Left actually, not sure, but Arsenal finished 7th, and were 7th-10th most of the season. Was replaced by Louis Van Gaal. Wenger meanwhile, took over France, only to be sacked after the Euro's.

In FM11 I used to always see Wenger go to Real, but in FM11 he hasn't gone anywhere else yet, has always just retired at around the 2013 mark.

I'm in November 2011 in my current game, Wenger got the PSG job recently. Shearer just returned to Newcastle, Gullit to Feyenoord and Rijkaard to PSV. It's a managerial circus atm. I'm in my 1st season and get linked to every job imaginable.

I think he starts there, because he's managing them in my game too.

He doesn't in my game he has managed West Ham, Blackpool, Blackburn and Nottingham Forest but hasn't been back to Newcastle yet.

Guardiola in my game left Barcelona in 2013 to manage Spain, got sacked after the 2014 World Cup and went back to Barcelona. In 2017 he left to manage Spain again, was sacked after the World Cup and has just returned to Barcelona.
