As a movie, TDKR was pretty good.

But being a DC nut that I am, I didn't like the whole [spoiler]John Blake/Robin reference[/spoiler] at the end. There is no way that [spoiler]John Blake can be Robin because his backstory does not fit Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake or Damian Wayne.[/spoiler]

But hey, that's me being a nitpicker.

Just fucking insane! such a great film, King of the Trilogies for sure!

So when are we going to openly talk about the film. seriously that ending needs discussion, also was there always multiple [spoiler]bat's[/spoiler] or had[spoiler]fox just been tinkering and made a new one at the end using updated blue prints[/spoiler]

Saw Batman yesterday, fucking loved it.

Seriously, this is a REALLY EFF OFF HUGE SPOILER!!!!!!

[spoiler]The bit that confuses me is that the whole time I thought there was just the one bat, then we see Fox with the blokes working on a different one, that leeds, me to believe that Bruce could have swung back to Wayne industries secret project lab to pick up the glowy thing that Lucious took from the Bat to make the bloker that Gordon puts on the bomb meaning that the cockpit we saw could have been a remote any other vehicle. Also the cockpit we see just before the expolsion seems to be a one seater and we can clearly see that it is a two seater when the Cat jumps in with him.[/spoiler]

Geez I need to see this again to ensure I saw everything as it was.

Seeing Batman again tomorrow :d Shall be interesting to see if I pick up some other things second time around.

OH MA GAWD THAT WAS AMAZING! Such an epic movie, though I'm not sure how I feel about it compared to TDK. I can read all the spoilers in here now :lol:

Watched The Big Lebowski last night after a few spliffs, it's a brilliant film, some sequences were clearly intended to be viewed whilst high

Saw TDKR again, still awesome. Although a couple of things I've wondered is [spoiler]1) how Bruce Wayne got back to Gotham after he escaped the pit. Obviously he would have been able to fly back to America, but he'd have to know of some secret tunnel to get back into Gotham without being noticed by Bane's men and 2) How does he escape at the end? Obviously, he'd fixed the auto-pilot, but surely if he'd just ejected his seat he would have been killed by the blast.[/spoiler]

Saw the "TDKR" Yeterday , its a good movie but its not worthy of the Jizz fest on here IMO , Couldnt imagine watching it again tho , i was glad it was finished tbh and Am i the only one who couldnt understand half the Shit Baine AKA Tom Hardy Said...?

what bullshit! The hobbit is not that long a story and will just be 3 very long and boring films where one would have surficed.

Look at how drawn out TLOTR was and that was 3 books.

Yeah, turning The Hobbit into a trilogy is just going to make it long and tedious.

You do know they're not just using the one book to draw material from for these movies right?

Just got back from TDKR, wow!
I love Nolan's work generally and was really looking forward to this but it really did exceed my expectations, especially after mixed reviews from friends who are huge fans of the trilogy. The thing that Nolan's Batman flicks do so well is create that insane level of intensity with quality cinematography, and most importantly with the soundtrack, there is rarely a quiet moment in the movie without dialogue, sound effects or back ground music and as a result the brief moments of silence really hit you. Add to that the way the film expertly heightens the intensity with it's soundtrack, Nolan is a genius.

I'm really in two minds about whether or not I like this better than TDK, I loved Bane but he just didn't have that chilling psychotic factor that Ledger perfected so bloody well. The thing I like about TDK is that if you take the costumes out of the equation than it can stand alone as an excellent crime film in it's own right. They are two very different films though and are both just epic, the climactic scenes in Gotham are just epic and throughout the saga the quality of acting has been phenomenal and the writing and production has been excellent, definitely one of the greatest trilogies ever made.

[spoiler]Have to admit that I almost felt the sting of tears on occasion at the end with Michael Caine's final scenes, every time his face came on screen I felt myself almost getting a little glassy eyed[/spoiler]

This. Am considering reading the first 4 Bourne books before I see it though.

So it's going to be even more boring and drawn out than I first believed!

The hobbit is a great read, better than Lord of the Rings. Why destroy something great when you can make something beautiful?

[spoiler]pretty sure i was glassy-eyed as f*** during the final scene(s) involving alfred.

i don't really question how batman escaped the bat, or how he got back, but the question of what bat lucious is looking at with the tech guys at the end (the whole auto-pilot-discovery thing) is a little confusing for me. without looking into the single-vs-dual-seating, my guess was lucious got the bat re-built (what those tech guys were doing) because as he said "he wanted to know what he could have done". he probably then wanted to see how much work would have been involved to find the auto-pilot, which is when somewhere on a server those tech guys found the auto-pilot program bruce had setup "6 months ago". so i like to think the bat is an entirely newly-made one, just to clear fox's mind, and the program was in the r&d server or something, so it was easily findable for those guys.
