Did the game in two sittings over two nights, thoroughly enjoyed.

Recommended to anyone who loved Bioshock/Systemshock and or great narrative/exploration shooters.

GA and I recorded our first ever Minecraft Adventure Map last night. We may or may not upload it to the YouTubes.

We are really bad at playing games.

Damn, our first adventure map got deleted.

We recorded something different last night called Revenge of the Heir. About an hour of useable footage, will break it into 4 15min eps.

New Xbox is revealed tomorrow. I think the official Microsoft event starts at about 3am tonight our time for those who are keen enough. Otherwise all the news should be there when we wake up.

I bought an elite 360 just to play mass effect (although I did get in red dead redemption before it), and haven't bothered playing anything else. Feel like I should trade it in, see if I can get BF4, even though I uninstalled BF3 months ago.

Welp, looks like what little gaming I have time for these days will be on the computer. 0 from 3 on the new generation of consoles.

Yeah it doesnt look great does it? Technically no constant internet connection, but will require the account to be verified online once a day. Fuck that. My Xbox/PS3 are always connected but it's not the point, thats restrictive DRM however you look at it.

And still with this ridiculous obsession with everything except games. I dont care about the media centre aspects. I wont be able to use most of them anyway because I dont live in the US.

I have always leant more towards the Xbox than PlayStation but I think I just became a majority PS guy.

paying extra for pre owned games already partially existed through online passes, so makes sense that EA drops that as Microsoft announce this, smart move.

Well i know for me personally the only reason I was looking at the new Xbox is because of my 360 games. Since I cant do that it doesnt make the new xbox interesting at all anymore

I'm glad I'm not into the current generation of gaming. Retro gamer through and through. Don't have to put up with DRM and also I know that 30 years from now the games will still work. What will happen when the next generation comes out after this? Good luck trying to collect games or even play them when they take their servers down.

I worked in a game store about 10 years ago when online gaming was becoming mainstream and companies were looking into online DRM. I called it back then that this was bad for consumers- anything that relies on someone else for you to play your game (in this case a server in a remote location) means you don't own your game, you are leasing it for an indeterminate period of time. As soon as running that server isn't profitable you can't play your game.

Consumable entertainment has been radically redefined over the last decade. Where you once purchased and owned your media, increasingly you are licensing the use of it instead.

God that new Batman game looks good, some extra awesome news is that Conroy let slip that another Arkham game is being made right now to continue on from Arkham City, he's not voicing Batman on Origins but said he is voicing the next one. Keen!

Love the fact that the second hand games market will pretty much dissapear thanks to one install only games.

Assassins Creed 3 can go die in a horrible fire.

The way I see it, the developers will get more money, instead of EB/Gamestop. Considering the price of imports these days aswell, what advantages are there to buying second hand games?
