I just found Grove St in GTA 5. Its Ballas turf now and as soon as I got out to have a walk around I got killed.

Haha yeah I tried to kill them all, managed that part but cops drove me outta there before I could collect all the cash/ammo. Cool part was that a bit later on the radio they were reporting about the shootout, gotta love GTA man.

Australia's first R-rated computer game was released at midnight - the latest version of Grand Theft Auto which was developed for $300 million.

Its extreme adult themes earnt the over-18s restriction, but many parents are still worried.

The die hard fans have waited five years so five hours in a queue was easy.

"I don't come out at midnight for much else," one gamer said.

The fifth installment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise features graphic, realistic, sexual, violent - but merely criminal escapism, say fans.

"The amount of time I spent just running around, killing hookers and stuff," another gamer said.

It has attracted a rare R-rating in Australia. Not for children, but not harmful anyway, recent studies suggest.

"Moderate game play, even these sorts of games, doesn't seem to be associated with any major psychological harm," child psychologist Michael Carr Gregg said.

But many disagree - Norway's mass murderer Anders Breivik practiced with a "first-person shooter" game before his killing spree.

And twelve years ago, Trish Affleck's policeman husband, Jim, was deliberately run down by a man acting out a video game.

"They don't understand the consequences and the fact that they're doing it in real life," Affleck said.

The average gamer's age in Australia is 32, and three quarters are over 18.
"If you've set your parental controls not to play R18 games, it just won't play," Carr Gregg
said.

im actually surprised gtaV wasn't censored with how shit our recent ratings system has worked, but pleasantly surprised it came through unscathed. I'll be waiting for the inevitable pc version.

I agree switters, how the fuck Saints Row didn't make it in originally but GTAV did without a hitch boggles the mind.

Haha how good was that introduction to Trevor! Weird as fuck but funny as hell! :D

I actually am finding Trevor to be a bit of a grind. I really enjoyed Michael's early game missions with his kids, anNd really enjoying how his relationship with Franklin is developing. I understand that Trevor is meant to be chaotic and unpredictable in his motivation, but I'm finding that he's probably a bit too far to the other side of the spectrum for me.

I'm only about 20% completed so far, so maybe that will change.

Picked up GTA this morning. Now stuck at Uni finishing off an essay in a massive break before I can go home and play it. ](*,)

Have decided when Uni finishes, going to take my tax money and buy it along with FIFA 14 and of course a ps3.

FIFA 14 will be better on the PS4 but have played the demo on PS3, pretty solid, improvement on last years for sure :)

Needs another 200m in the next 13 or so days to beat the Black Ops 2 record of fastest entertainment release to reach the $1 billion mark.

Yeah heard they've been trying to fix it, worked fine initially since us Aussie and such got the game ahead of North America and the UK, probably mostly the immense amount of traffic lol as you said.

ive finished demons souls and dark souls. One of my all time favorite series, ive finished demon souls so many times ive lost track. Really can't wait for Dark souls 2 but the games absorb so much of your time.

I'll be honest, I've still yet to finish Demons Souls. I've come close multiple times, but just never ended up getting around to it. Will probably try again before this drops though. Dark Souls i've done, and can honestly say, it's probably my favourite game of all time.

If I could strap a fucking sticky bomb to this dog I would. Cunt.
