WTF I try to sign a few players on loan with me paying 0% they say yes then I get a message saying "Pogba set to move on loan to Potsmouth, it goes on how he is coming then at the bottom it says the transfer could not be completed and that I cancelled it. Help?

I assume you're out of the transfer embargo period?

Are you paying any monthly/loan fees?

Do you already have the maximum number of loans for that type?

Not really sure as I haven't come across that before...

Transfer embargo was lifted on my second day...

Just finished my first season in the Championship with a respectable finish of 15th. We played some very good games as well as some very poor games but at least we get to play championship football again next year.

Top performer was Josh Thompson (again) with a rating of 7.52 top goal score was new signing Daryl Murphy with 18 goals in all competitions.

I am looking through my squad now and feel its time for a revamp and time to cash in on some of my players that are either injured every few weeks (i.e. Luigi Bruins) or players where I can see a large drop coming (i.e. Michalik)...

Opened up FM12 for the first time in a long time. It's the day after our Champions League win.

I'm also manager of the Australian U23 team for some reason.

I have to re-do my squad depth chart since I accidentally deleted it when starting the Wanderers save in Fm13 that lasted about 5 minutes. :lol:

Sacked by Liverpool in December, 15th in the league, unbeaten in Europe. Frustrating. Took over at Bolton in early-Feb when they were 12th, got them to 2nd, but on the last day we needed a win, 2-0 up at half time, drew 2-2 and finished 3rd, knocked out of the playoffs in the first round. Fucking pissed.

Then after the season they tell me that they are 117m in debt and have to halve my wage budget. Fuck knows what im gonna do know, just sold all my best players for about 25m, so ive almost got a decent wage budget now.

Difference between 8th and 17th was 6 points. Couple of wins and im in the top half. Couldnt get the team to click.

Hows this, pretty much sacked Keith Andrews from my Bolton side last season, his last 3 games for me went like this. Each game was after he returned from suspension.
vs Watford - Straight red in the 36th minute (3 match Suspension)
vs Peterborough - Straight red in the 17th minute (4 match Suspension)
vs Blackpool - 65min sub, Straight red in the 74th minute (6 match suspension)

Free transferred him after that Blackpool game.

Just had one of my key players (and 'up and comers' that would have been able to stay with me until a Premier League title push) sold in the first couple of weeks of the new season... I forgot I put a min release of $4 million (AUD) which allowed me to sign him to low wages initially... Grrr... Oh well signed a couple of back ups that should get me through until another comes along, at least this has got me out of debt for the time being...

Hopefully this year I can have a good FA Cup run to get some more coin, previous years I have failed to make any real impact...

The board and fans are going to crucify me if he leaves.

But he's on £6 million a year (plus roughly £1.5 million a year from app and goal bonuses). His physical stats are starting to degrade although he's still a very good player. He also had a poor start to the season, has been hurt and suspended multiple games. He's been better in recent weeks but maybe it's time for him to leave. So I hadn't immediately opened negotiations for a new contract. I was hoping he'd reduce his demands as the season came to an end.

He got mad at a team-talk I did. I tried to smooth it over, he hasn't budged though. Maybe later in the year I'll try and see what I can do. What's annoying is that he wants to be a manager when he retires but he hasn't asked me if I want to 'get him started' to see what his staff stats are like.

Got two young players that could take his place on the right wing, but it might necessitate moving into the transfer market. Which probably wouldn't be good for the club since we're really tight for cash due to how small our stadium is. Interesting times ahead.

I'm having a similar problem with Steven Gerrard. Won't take on the coach training.

A bunch of his stats all deteriorated by a point so maybe it's for the best. Still don't have his staff stats though.

The team has come on a mini-form slump, 3-2 against Wycombe (17th), 0-0 draw against Huddersfield (15th), then got smashed 2-0 by Ajax in the away leg of our CL quarter final. We're 6 points clear of City with 2 games in hand in the Premier League though, with 10 games left for us. Won the League Cup, CWC and Euro Super Cup as well which was nice.

You should just keep an eye on everyone who's watching him in free agency. It'd be a shame to lose him to a rival...

A few decent regens have started to pop up. I've signed 8 U18 players in the january window and spent most of my budget on that instead of first team players :lol: I did end up forking over 17m for Marc ter Stegen though. Reina's only 33 but my back-up was planning on leaving and ter Stegen was unsettled so I thought 'fuck it'.

No-one wants him right now. :lol:

My regens this season were shit. Only a couple of 2 star potential. Barely worth signing them up. No decent free transfers either, only a handful 2.5 star ability players, all of whom want more than I want to pay them.

The 3 star ability right back I bought on a free got stroppy at his lack of 'first team action', transfer listed by request (he forfeits his loyalty bonus), and I've sold him to Juve for 12.5 million. Not a bad profit from a year's work.

I hate this. I've had one phenomenally good young lad and nothing else in 3 seasons. I've been raiding other clubs first chance I get to bring in some youngsters so my U18's team doesn't get raped.

I can't really complain though, the past 3 years I've made a lot of money on my regens, and had a couple of good 3.5 star potential players come through.

Beat Ajax 5-0 in the return leg, took their time though, 4 minutes for the opener, took until the 84th to get level, we had 20 shots on target in normal time, they had 1), but we put three past them in extra time. Got City in the semi-final. Arsenal got Madrid in the other.

So I signed ter Stegen on the 7th of Jan, it's now the 14th of Feb. He's played 3 of the 5 games since then and he's complaining that he's not getting enough first team football. #-o

I am about to buy and download FM13 onto my laptop, has anyone had any troubles doing so, I figure there is no point buying the disc from a store as it's $70 and online its $40.

I don't know why I have waited so long to get it, Although I have been known to get "addicted" to games like this and have gone days without seeing daylight :d

The only reason you'd go and buy it in store is if you've got capped downloads.

If you're in a temporary stadium, do you end up with their facilities and recruitment for that season?

What does it say in the facilities section? I don't believe you do, you only share stadium. Maybe it was on here, but I once saw a team in a top to bottom challenge groundshare at Stamford Bridge for a season. :lol: Guy made a shit-load of money.

edit - training and youth training facilities you might, but the recruitment network and junior coaching shouldn't be affected, and those two are what make the chances of getting good players during the intake (Junior Coach = starting Current ability, recruitment network = potential ability).
