How do you know I didn't mean retarded in a lateral sense? 8-[ Bonkers wrote:I dont even have too. Thats not orthographical in any case. Orthography is a noun, therefore capital 'o'.

You use upper-case for the first letter of pronouns/proper-nouns. Unless at the start of a sentence, nouns like water, food, shelter do not require a capital letter.

You used it as a proper noun, not an abstract noun.

No, spelling is a part of linguisitics (just as spelling, punctuation, grammar, semantics etc. form the aggregate.) Grammar is more or less to do with syntax, and in a way, the appropriate use of words. Edited by martyB: 31/12/2010 12:25:31 AM

Only because of your subtle bump.
I had someone use "use" as a plural of "you" today. I wanted to slap them upside the head.

I think we could use the word 'about' more often.
I particularly enjoy the naming of the 'roundabout'. Perfect.

Is "ay, bro" being recognised as the modern New Zealand pronunciation of a period to end a sentence?

Both the NIX and Perth Glory have to travel the furtherest over 5000kms just to play one game thats tough for both squads.
