I will miss the gold dearly, but it looks pretty boss!
At the end of the day, at least it looks better than the Mariners (though that's not bloody hard!).

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

It might be nice to see a simpler hunter ports logo, doesn't seem to harm the away shirt though (apart from it being one big sticky transfer). I'm cringing at the idea of gold numbering though, I hope they're not ghastly and tacky - hopefully the same 'gold' as the collar.. Thinner vertical strips might have been nice to but over all not bad...
No sign of NIB on the kit anywhere either?

How good and refreshing is it to see an away strip that has completely different 'colours' than the home strip. I believe it must be another first for the HAL...

No sign of NIB on the kit anywhere either? Nib is on the shorts for Jets Gold numbering and lettering make the kit much classier imo Looked great irl

I still didn't notice Nib on the shorts but probably didn't look for them well enough I suppose.

How was it for you?

How was it for you? Great atmosphere, but seriously pre game, the sun was so bad. It wont be a problem at the later games though. Funny you say that, i was contemplating moving to the new side   Edited by samb: 10/10/2011 06:06:11 PM

As much as I hate that the squadron stand in the side named after that drug lord. Would not swap the sun for anything.

How was it for you? Yeah understand what he is saying, there was plenty of yelling (myself included) and general comments and a lot of passion in my bay and a couple of older boys starting getting into the chants a bit but stop when noone joined in, I would of but I made the mistake of taking my 15 month old daughter so I couldn't quite get into it but next game I won't be bringing her so hopefully people get more comfortable with expressing there emotions

What did you guys think of Craig Deans? Do you want a new manager ASAP or are you willing to give him some more games, perhaps the season?
I thought you guys played well on the weekend. Not sure how much influence Deans had though.

Just a small point, but did anyone else notice that at the game on Saturday, the advertising on the Andrew Johns side (the side facing the television cameras) was electronic board not just your normal A-league billboards? And the same occurred at Brisbane for their game with Central Coast as well? Anyone else notice it/know anything about it?

I thought you guys played well on the weekend. Not sure how much influence Deans had though. Deans only needs as many games as it takes to find a proper replacement. If we can find one immediately that's good but if it will take a month to get the right replacement then that is fine too. We don't want any more Culinas, Farinas, Kosminas or McKinnas.
