Looks pretty decent to me! Need to sort out LB in the sense that Goodwin needs an attitude fix and/or toughening up. Also relies on Montano working out for us. Also Flores, Griff & Carney to stay uninjured and/or not suspended.

What's with your left side now? Heaps of players. 4 that can play left back, 3 that can play left wing, 5 squad spots in total. Goodwin getting shafted again, despite signing a new contract? :S

Good to hear some news on Ward though, same situation as Ifill I guess, though less publicised. :D

It's looking likely that Goodwin will play LB, Carney LM/LW, Steele CM, Gallaway as cover for LB/RB, Lundy not being looked at to start yet. EDIT: oh and Gallagher I think is the 4th centreback, moreso than being LB cover.

It does appear out lift strategy may be to simply sign all left sided players available thus reducing the strength of very other team's left side..... Which we then expose as a weakness.... With all our right sided players, uh hang on....

You could introduce 'the whirl', invented by one of the most famous Man City coaches, Malcolm Allison, whilst at Bristol Rovers.

The 4 midfielders regularly rotated position during the game. Was most famously credited with a 4-0 thrashing of Bristol City.

And the Dutch get all the credit for total football!

Yep, Hannah is obviously an unknown and thus it's way too difficult to say whether he'll be a starter over the likes of Griff & Jeronimo up front. Kanta is his usual inconsistent self, all potential but nothing to show for it. And Hoole has recently had shoulder surgery, and I think won't be a starter but you never know.

We have a few guys in there prone to picking up some cards. We're going to need to rely on our depth, without a doubt, throughout the season.

Hopefully Neville carries on his excellent form, he was fantastic before he got injured

For anyone interested, and has no yet seen on basically all forms of Jerks supporters social media, last week we saw the return of the Jetstream Podcast!

It featured myself (Mitch), hosted by furns (occasional poster on here) and another Jerks forum user who I believe doesn't frequent here. We also had a guest appear in the form of one of the boys from Around the Bloc (ATB) podcast to help preview what was the upcoming Jerks v WSW game.

We plan on making this a weekly show, and hopefully will be able to rival ATB for their FFDU podcast glory in the future :lol:

Lerky Gee is preety good and boogard coming home is weird to say the least. I'm sure I remember him bagging Newy when he was a Gypo.

You guys might just get a win this week Vs Nix's. We have been wasteful and woeful - Cant see us getting any better this week. TAB is paying good money for a Jets win :twisted: .

At besy we can hope for a draw. We took 53 minutes last week to have a shot. We play defensive long ball so even shit oppositionhave a chance at the win.

In our wooden spoon season (08/09) we got 18 points from 21 games.

In our current season, we have 11 points from 19 games. Our highest possible points in 21 games we can get now is 17 - 1 less than our wooden spoon season!

I wonder if we'll even get to 18 points even with the 27 games we have to play this season :lol:
