Having seen plenty of Park over the years I can say he'll be fantastic for you. Surprised nobody had picked him up before now. I could not recommend him highly enough

Or good news for Spurs ;)
Can't see any move for him but Arsenal though.
Also, have heard a whisper or two that you might be back in for Baines... thoughts?

Yeah if Cahill leaves I can only see it to us and I think it will happen.
As for Baines, I would welcome him with open arms.

Who needs Baines when we have Gibbs who is fantastic..........in the half dozen games a season where he isn't injured.
I think it's time for Arsene to bite the bullet and accept he'll be crocked for a majority of his career and bring in someone who can be part of a defence for the next 5 seasons.

For the amount of money we have Moyes has done a brilliant job. Also, it's not like Arsenal (or Liverpool) will win anything soon anyway ;) (Pls don't get mad, I actually want Arsenal to win something). EDIT: ^^^^^ Isn't Sagna being played at LB with Jenkinson at RB? Edited by ual: 28/8/2011 10:34:40 AM

Sagna apparently was sick yesterday and will have a test today, but should be ok. My best guess at a lineup would be something like this. ---Sczesny--- --Jenkinson---Koscielny--Vermaelen--Sagna-- ---Ramsey---Djourou--- ---Rosicky--- --Walcott-----------------Arshavin-- ---RvP--- Edited by sydneycroatia58: 28/8/2011 02:32:29 PM

Sol Campbell has been speaking to the Guardian and apparently we've already offered him a coaching role at the club to help train the academy and reserve teams. Have to say I would be 100% behind that.

Sol Campbell would be quality. Geroge Graham (as unlikely as it is) as a first team coach with Boro would be quality. Imagine the combination: incredible defensive discipline of George Graham sides with the beautiful football of Arsene Wenger teams. Why not combine the best of both eras? It might buck the ideas of some Arsenal players. George Graham would eat Nasri alive! Actually, if Arsene Wenger was to be sacked (which I 110% do not want), George Graham should be his replacement.

George is 66. I think that alone rules out any chance of him replacing Wenger.
Plus, once Arsene is gone he will have a very big part in picking his successor, and it will be someone with the same idea of how to play football as him.

Slight change to my predicted line up. I think Coquelin will start in midfield instead of Djourou.

Whoever is playing left back looks pretty weak IMO, Jenkinson is playing well early, Arshavin made a few mistakes and Traore looks a bit rusty. Defence is a bit off too, though recovering well and looks quite up to the fight.

 It's gonna be OK
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

If Arsene isn't seriously considering his position after the match then he should be.
If he is serious about staying he need to walk into the boardroom tomorrow and demand to sign 4 or 5 players or he's leaving.
