By buried one I assume you mean score? If that's the case it would've been hard for Holt to score when he didn't even have 1 shot, let alone 1 on goal.

Norwich had 2 shots on target, Morison's goal and Pilkington's freekick.

Blah must have got my players mixed up. They seemed to get too crowded in the final third, few off the legs of defenders, those are the ones that can go anywhere.

Yeah they had a few blocked shots but apart from those and the terrible miss from Pilkington from 6 yards out I don't remember any real chances they had. They had some decent ball down the wings but had absolutely no players into the box and their delivery was pretty crap. Also gave away way to much ball trying to go through our centre backs.

Speaking of shots that can go anywhere, I'm still trying to figure out how the fuck Russell Martin got that first goal line clearance over the bar. 9 times out of 10 that goes off his shin and in :lol:

Arsène Wenger has reinforced his commitment to Arsenal by declaring, once again, that “this is the Club of my life”.

The manager moved to clarify his position after comments he made about his future were published in a French magazine on Saturday morning.

“I wanted just to say that this is the Club of my life,” he told Arsenal Player after the 2-1 win at Norwich. “I have a contract that I will honour and the only way I would one day consider [leaving] is if I feel I have not done well enough for the Club.

“You cannot say you love the Club and have a start like we had then ignore it. That is just what I wanted to say.

“There is no mixed message in there. My commitment and love for this Club is total. The only way I would consider [my future] is if I was not doing well enough for the Club.”

Just shows how tight the league is right now. I don't think we're in the race for the title but a decent result against City could change that... You just never know.

The fact that he never won a WPOTY award is ludicrous, especially in that 2002-05 period when he was easily the best striker in the world.

This time last year we were 5 points of Chelsea at the top. Big difference is last season we didn't have City running away with it :lol: City have 6 more points after 12 games than Chelsea did last season.

Your other problem is that you are one man team now, mark Van Persie out of the game and you have almost nothing.

That's funny, if we are such a one man team Van Persie would be winning every man of the match award and beating 5-6 players and scoring which he clearly isn't. We didn't win this morning because of Van Persie, we won because of Alex Song and some horrible marking from Dortmund.

As for marking him out of the game. A team can try that, the problem is it is almost impoosible for just one player to mark him out of the game. It would be very very difficult to actually organise marking him out of the game simply because of how he plays.

Mertesacker hasn't seemed to be a problem lately, and for a 2nd choice CB he's an excellent player to have.

Also, we aren't chasing the title, at least not this season.
