Nothing we don't know in there really, we know United have been pushing hard for RvP no surprises there. I still don't think he'll leave, and that's only because I think Arsene will refuse to sell to United. Anyways, I could be wrong but that's just my gut feeling at the moment.

Starting to feel uneasy about these Song to Barca rumours.
Dismissed it as baseless rumours at first but they keep persisting and there seem to have been talks. Would be shattered if we lost him.


That was a couple of years ago though and Robin has shown strong quotes of loyalty like this can mean can mean very little.

If you get as much as they are talking about it could mean keeping Van Persie and offering him a good contract

Cazorla has the best average of the four stats in all the Major European leagues shown here. Good for Arsenal with high intercepts and high average tackles per game

Song is not worth selling unless we get someone in to replace him who is as good or better. I would rather keep Song than lose him just so we can maybe re-sign RvP and not sign a Song replacement.

I think I might even prefer keeping Song to RVP. And I'm not even one of the ones that are bitter against him.
29 years old and injury prone with ready made replacements in Podolski and Giroud -vs- 24 year old entering his prime in a position that we don't have any like for like replacements.


One of the reasons I've been so keen on this deal :D. Very very complete player.

So rumours coming through now are that Arsenal BOARD have accepted a 25 million bid (By United) for RVP and Wenger is not happy (Obviously). Sorry for posting another stupid rumour about RVP which we hear every bloody day but this is the first rumour where the board have actually accepted something.

I can already feel the hate towards RVP in my veins.. United, disgusting.

While I would believe a rumour that the board accepted a 25m offer. What makes that rumour hard to believe is United apparently offering 25m.

I'd be surprised if we coughed up 25m tbh, but Fergie has always been a HUGE admirer of RVP and despite his age and fragility I wouldn't be surprised if Fergie was desperate to sign him

The thing is I think if you really really wanted to sign him you would have already, or at least offered us an amount we'd think about.

RVP went about it all the wrong way to start with, and looking like making himself hated even more by going to United. I hope he does an Owen or Berbatov.

The life of an unemployed uni student

I remember the days of being able to stay up until ungodly hours watching my team. Now I can only watch Saturday games or games that start at like 5am because of damn work!
