I haven't seen the United one, but the Arsenal, the linesman would've needed a miracle to see it, I might be wrong but I don't think the QPR players even appealed.

 After the last few years it's kind of amazing to think that after 9 games we have the best defence in the league.

WOW. What a crazy game between Arsenal B and Reading. Theo showed genuine joy at scoring the sixth and his 3rd, maybe there is hope for him yet..... If Chamakh can score you know just how woeful the defending really was.

Honestly just fucking lost for words. First half was disgusting and the less said the better, but credit to them they came back in 2nd and didn't just throw in the towel and earnt back a lot if not all of the dignity they lost in the first half.
Bringing Giroud on into the 2nd half completely changed the game, thought him and Chamakh worked well upfront. Theo was the real star of the show obviously, even though he only got credited with 2 goals, he should have a hattrick and 2 assists added to it, was simply outstanding. Chamakh was great in the 2nd half, did not stop working and scored two excellent goals.

did Arshavin play in the centre as he got 3 assists and when he does play in the centre I think he is an ok player. If he does not price himself out of every club he could still do a job in England if he wanted (not at Arsenal) and I think he will do well but I am guessing he will go back to Zenit as they will be willing to pay his wages.

Frimpong was really poor in the first half I thought, his lack of tracking back is a real worry, Eisfeld looked much better when he came on for him. Gnabry was good in the first half, one of the only ones who looked like actually creating something for us.

He played mostly on the left but drifted into the middle on occasion.

Also, massive congratulations to Carl Jenkinson scoring his first goal for the club, and what an important goal it was to make it 4-4.

Definitely, was a fucking good finish as well  Have to say I did love this, the moment Giroud had to get his shirt back from the crowd after FT because he didn't realise there was ET to come

Crazy game. Some calamitous defending from both teams.
I did find it amusing watching Arsenes reactions to everything that was going on in ET

One thing's fir sure, I think we absolutely have to start Theo on Saturday, even more so with Gervinho injured. When he's in this type of mood and form we can't afford not to start him

Well done to Sky for making it out as if this guy was deserting his team before HT when he didn't  Edited by sydneycroatia58: 31/10/2012 10:36:45 AM

Happy I wasn't giving shit to any of my Arsenal mates at half-time, I had a feeling you were gonna end up winning it somehow.

Quote:Dont know if they showed this on the telly (I've been listening on the radio) but apparently 2 Arsenal players threw their shirt into the crowd at the end - thinking they'd earned a replay. Then they realised they had to play extra time and had to go and ask for them back. Unbelievable.

Yepp, would mean a lot to the lad. Dont know if you saw the interview, but it was pretty funny. Carl wanted that goal. Quote:Interviewer (to Walcott): You’ve got the match ball, it did cross the line, but the officials weren’t going to give it… Interviewer (to Walcott& Jenkinson): So who’s claiming the goal? Jenkinson (straight in): I’m claiming it. Theo: I’d love goal line technology to get the hatrick, but.. Jenkinson: You’ve had enough mate. Theo: Well, if they haven’t given it, well done Carl (shakes his hand), I’ll just go give the ball back to the referee Interviewer: There you go Carl, your first Arsenal goal, what does that mean? Jenkinson: It means everything. I’ve wanted to get on that score sheet for a long time *starts laughing as Walcott throws the match ball away* I’m just happy it came in a good win.

Wenger on Theo Quote:I want it resolved by Christmas. His right position is through the middle in the future Interesting to see that it seems like he is really coming around to the idea of Theo through the middle.
