Edited by neanderthal: 8/7/2013 01:36:23 PM Bale would've probably gone by now if he wanted to, especially after all the shit Zidane pulled a few weeks ago. I just don't think there will be an offer for Suarez at all. But this is an arsenal thread... So how's that Higuain medical coming along ;) :p Edited by vaughn2111: 8/7/2013 02:10:11 PM

AVB gave him a free role and they have a strong relationship.

You're right it is cocky, but still nowhere near as cocky as your fans have been the last 2 seasons only to watch your team once again cock it all up. I'll make the call right now, we will finish above Sp*rs once again next season.

This is the first time at the start of a season in years that I am backing Arsenal to finish above Spurs.

I just love how a team who should be challenging for silverware gets so excited about finishing above a team striving for european qualification.
God I wish there were more Spurs fans on here

Edited by vaughn2111: 8/7/2013 06:16:18 PM I'd say most fans would be excited about being better than your rivals, regardless of where either club is.

We have finished above you in every one of the last 18 years. That's how I define better ;)

Interesting move with Higuain apparently on the way for a medical? Note: genuine question, not trolling

I don't think there's anything interesting about it, it's more just bizarre. Arsenal would surely have known that a 30m bid isn't adequate. I think the bid's fictional.

Just the usual big club lowballing little club move. Quite common.

In b4 - 'That's how we do transfers at Arsenal. The club doesn't even bid until it's confirmed'

Florentino Perez is one massive PR machine
Not saying what he's said isn't true, I of course can't say that with any certainty, just saying it wouldn't surprise me at all if it isn't, and I don't think it is.

But would this statement come out if Higuain was in London for a medical as the other reports suggest? Which You (not specifically, but as a collective) all seem to take as gospel?
