Could have been a very good midfielder if he could actually make it on the pitch consistently.

Something about the bones never being able to heal fully. That kind of injury would have resulted in a pin in his leg which would have gone through the growth plate (the section of bone that generates bone). Obviously at the age of 20 he wasn't finished developing and one leg ends up shorter than the other.

So some great news ahead of Norwich tomorrow with Santi, Sagna and Özil all declared fit. Means our injury list is now just down to Ox, Theo, Poldi, Diaby and Sanogo.

Reports flying around that Diaby has had a setback and is out until March. Surely he has to retire.

We've seen glimpses of that when he's been in form. In his last run of games he was immense. He was like Jack Wilshere and Alex Song in one.

If there is any consolation, he is a bright guy and therefore capable of making a life outside football and the wages he earned at Arsenal should be a very nice starting point.

Nothing against the other midfielders at all, but it's not a surprise to me that the two only real chances that Norwich have had have come through their #10, and has only been after Flamini left the field.
Further shows how important he is to the team imo

Forget the Premier League. There aren't many players in the world playing better than Rambo at the moment. Haven't had this much fun watching Arsenal play in years, probably since 2007/08

Ribery and Pogba spring instantly to mind. Hell, considering how much Arsenal fans are wanking over Ozil he's possibly not even the best player at the club let alone the world.

But it's ok don't let facts get in the way. As for Ozil, that's the best part, for as awesome as Ozil has been he's still not the best player at the club at the moment  I don't know about anyone else but I find that terrifying

To be fair to sydcro, he did say "not many". 2 isn't many. If this was a Liverpool player, there'd be heads rolled as to why they wouldn't give him the Ballon Dor right now

Arsene has stumbled onto something fucking awesome here. Szczesny in goal, back 4 of Sagna, Per, Kos and Gibbo. Arteta and Flamini at the base of the midfield with any 3 of Rambo, Santi, Özil, Jack, Theo, Ox and Poldi ahead of them with Giroud upfront.
