The story of an Australian baby girl called Lanesra has gone viral after her mother told the hilarious back story behind her unique name.

In a short excerpt published to an unidentified magazine, the mother, Clare Smith, said: “We chose our daughter’s name, Lanesra, because it was unique and romantic. It wasn’t ’til she was two that my husband told me it was actually his favourite soccer team, Arsenal, spelled backwards!”

A photo of the snippet was posted to Reddit two days ago, and it’s already racked up almost 2 million views and been widely shared.

But unfortunately, not everyone in the thread believes the name sounds as “romantic” as the girl’s parents do.

One user, PMMEAMAZNORXBOXCODES, likened it to a topical ointment.

User ‘MeAsaHorse’ expressed concern for the school bullying element, saying: “Kids at school will call her Lasagna.” Although you could argue there’s nothing more flattering than being nicknamed after a delicious Italian pasta.

Another said: “Too bad he didn’t support Chelsea then.” Yeah, because ‘Aeslehc’ sounds so much better than ‘Lanesra’.

 Arensal fans

Dunno why this is a story now. I read about this 2 years ago in thats life. Yes thats the magazime it was in . Making it out as its anew story is a laugh  also could be worse . They couldve been sunderland fans  dnalrednus just sounds very very wrong

So the story about Aubameyang missing training is the perfect example of how fucked up the transfer window is.

On Elneny, Arsene said, 'is complicated a little bit but we are working hard on it and hopefully in the next two or three days we will get to the end of it'

I assume that would be to do with the work permit, so hopefully we can get that sorted. Arsene also said this about Elneny being our only potential signing, 'The only one? I don’t rule out anyone else, but he will be at least one signing that comes into an area where we are short at the moment'

Also mentioned that Alexis probably won't make it for Liverpool in midweek, more likely he's back for Stoke next weekend.

Arteta played 45 mins for the U21's during the week and will be in the squad for Sunderland. Also Rosicky is not far away from returning and Welbeck could possibly be back in 3 weeks or so.

Will be Ox and Chambers in midfield. Assume it will either be 4-4-2 or Iwobi as the #10 with Theo and Joel on the wings. Keen to see Jeff get some minutes.

City dropped points so could have been worse. How Giroud managed to miss is beyond me, but more than redeemed himself.

Oh my god this. I mean he was great last season, but has somehow become even better this season.

I mean the result is disappointing because the equaliser came late, but with City dropping points it's not a disaster. 6 pts from Stoke and Chelsea and this morning can all be forgotten.

Something has to be done about that midfield though, not sure how long we can keep getting away with it.

Chamberlain ](*,)

Out attacking structure today was horrible, our only idea was to give the ball to Ramsey or Joel and hope they produce something. Not good enough.

Considering our history at Stoke a point is never a bad idea. That being said the Ox can fuck right off back to the bench, very nearly done with his shit. The attacking performance was no real shock at a place like Stoke and without Ozil, Alexis or Santi. Chelsea should be the start of an extended run on the bench for Theo.

3 of our next 4 league games are at home, big chance to turn the screw a little.

Were never going to score at stoke with that lineup.
Do we know when Santi, Sancgez and Ozil are due? Need these guys to win the league.

Sanchez and Ozil back for Chelsea, Santi will be a bit longer. Welbeck back in full training this week is another bonus.

Cečh has saved our bacon on numerous times. After his shaky start against west ham , he went beast mode . Still think we need to rotate per and gabriel and kos around. Mostly per but since santi is injured per is needed as captain.
