I've also read that Johnson has a thigh injury and that he has been involed in a sex scandal. Not sure what the truth is. Maybe they are related.
Johnson isn't the best defensively, but he provides a hell of a lot going forward.
That said, he has been in poor form of late and HASN'T provided much going forward, but I'd still be surprised if he was flat dropped.
Hering that Hibbert is RB, so hopefully Kon and Cole tear him a new one

Johnson has been dropped flat out apparently.
Stoked to see Poulsen dropped too. And happy to see Raul where he belongs. Not a bad line-up although I'd probably switch Maxi for Jovanovic. I'm hoping that Poulsen's dropped aswell. He doesn't seem to be adjusting to the pace of the premier league. it will be good to see Konchesky back as well. After the events of the past week I'm really feeling optimistic for this game. I wouldn't say I'm optimistic, but I think that the ownership issues being solved should help.

Liverpool journalists who follow the club on a daily basis is no doubt that Hodgson's patience with Daniel Agger's many injuries is nearly over. As he was talking about the teams injury situation, he did not mention Daniel Agger.
"Konchesky has come back fine and so is Fernando Torres. We get two good back, but lose one good in Kuyt' said Hodgson and that's therefore the only bad news (Kuyt injury) in his squad status. I can understand his frustration. Dagger has fantastic ball skills but he is way too injury prone, and never seems at his best. In terms of out and out defending Skrtel is better than him, but I like having him in the team for his skills bringing the ball out of defence.

Poulsen not dropped but given leave on compassionate grounds according to unconfirmed reports as well.
Shame, because I thought Roy saw sense and dropped him, but that might not be the case.

Shame, because I thought Roy saw sense and dropped him, but that might not be the case. Still (and I know this sounds harsh) at least he's not playing. It's up to Raul and Lucas to step up to the plate now and show Roy their qualities as Central midfielders. hopefully, if the put in a good, collective performance, Poulsen may find himself confined to the bench upon his return.
