It's not the first time he's been linked to United. But if United think that they want the grief of signing one of our players, and that player wants the grief coming their way for signing for United to begin with, they're having a laugh.
It's still not Wilshere's place to raise that question. He shouldn't have copped the same size fine as Babel, but he still should have been disciplined.

Reina wont go to United. He might go though, which would upset me immensely.

He's probably the best keeper in england over the last 5 years in terms of consistency and quality. Reina leaving would be a HUGE loss.

Yeah. We don't know the full story on that one though. Only that SAF said "hell no" and that was the end of it.
Regardless, the chance of any player transferring between the two clubs should be somewhere between fuck all and the chance of me swimming to mars.

Rumors about Carroll flying around Newcastle forums. He may not be ready till the end of March now as his hamstring is apparently not healing properly. Nut just rumors.

Every time I've heard the injury mentioned, it's been called thigh, not hammy. Thigh is generally known as the top of the leg, and the Hammy the underside. AFAIK.

There is no such thing as a thigh muscle in medical terms afaik. At any rate rumor is coming out of SJP so take it as you will.

lol busby, I stumbled across that photo last night  BusbyBabe wrote:afromanGT wrote:Regardless, the chance of any player transferring between the two clubs should be somewhere between fuck all and the chance of me swimming to mars. If United made a bid for him we'd reject it and recommend to him that he moved to another club, probably sell him to Barca. He's twice the keeper Valdez is anyway. I believe this because NEwcastle United fans have such a good relationship with the Liverpool physios.

That picture has disturbed me immensely Busby, cos when having a kick-a-bout my mates sometimes said 'let's play prison rules football' which I always thought involved clobbering your oppenent when tackling them like hardened criminals would do, appears I was wrong...

Dagger did an interview with a Danish paper, it's been translated on LFC: Quote:Daniel Agger got an extra popularity boost on Merseyside, when he in the weekend smashed "the traitor" Fernando Torres with an elbow. A game where Liverpool beat Chelsea 0-1 on Stamford Bridge.
And Agger will less like likely to become the new Judas, when he admits he would never do as Fernando Torres.
- If I one day changes, it's gonna be to a club outside England. I've been here for five years and have three years left on my contract. If I'm gonna change club, it's gonna be to try something new, he says and continues:
- I am proud to wear the jersey, but I understand both Torres and the club. If a player don't wanna be here, then it's just to go ahead and say "Good luck", he says as a garantee that he will never play for one of Liverpools rivals.
- It's a kind of respect for the club it self. I could never change to a club like Manchester United or Everton, the defender promises who like the rest of the squad on Anfield has re-found the joy under Kenny Daglish.
- I had some problems under Roy Hodgon. I never felt I got into the center of the defence before the last game against Bolton. Kenny is very positive and ball oriented. Hodgson was different, but you have to accept that.
On the other hand he has no doubts, that this year Liverpool will end higher in the table then the current 6th place.
- Six points is a lot, so it's gonna be very tough.
Great to hear :) He's been great in the last few games.

For his injury status to change in the last week...you'd think that would come from someone new seeing him, not the same physios that have been treating him for the last month.
