Every time I've heard the injury mentioned, it's been called thigh, not hammy. Thigh is generally known as the top of the leg, and the Hammy the underside. AFAIK.

Yeah. I believe this because NEwcastle United fans have such a good relationship with the Liverpool physios.

For his injury status to change in the last week...you'd think that would come from someone new seeing him, not the same physios that have been treating him for the last month.

There is no such thing as a thigh muscle in medical terms afaik. At any rate rumor is coming out of SJP so take it as you will.
