Pepe Reina could play his 150th consecutive Barclays Premier League game for Liverpool at Fulham on Monday night - here are all the rest of the big-match stats.
Jamie Carragher will be in line to play his 666th game for Liverpool - moving into outright second place in the club's all-time appearance list.
Dirk Kuyt has now scored eight penalties out of eight for Liverpool as well as a successful spot-kick in a Champions League Semi-Final shoot-out against Chelsea.
Should Kuyt score he will become the first Liverpool player since John Aldridge in March 1989 to score in five successive league games in the same season.
If Liverpool win all their remaining three games they will reach a total of 64 points - one more than last season.
Liverpool have scored in each of the last 15 league games home and away.
They have not conceded a goal from open play in the last four games - the only one scored in that time coming from a Robin van Persie penalty at the Emirates.
Some interesting stats before the game :)

Great win today, Maxi's 2nd hatrick in 3 games. Just hope we dont lose him in the off season. Champions League? if city lose and we win next week, we will be within 1 point of Champions League.

Good to see you care enough to post that Funky.
But I guess it's cliche if I tell you to wait till next season? :P

Anyway, brilliant win from the lads. Suarez was absolutely immense, but everybody played well. Could've been 7 or 8 easily.

I can't wait to watch it on OneHD. I gotta invest in Foxtel! I'm really getting excited about next season. Think we'll get a few good signings!

Importantly we came back and nailed a couple more - damn, Maxi on a roll ! Got to say felt for MS in goal but thats football  Just hope we knock off 2more wins - the teams finishing above will be looking out for us next season :d

Yeah... it's a win-win for us tomorrow... Spurs win and we have a pretty decent crack at 4th, Citeh win and we all but wrap up 5th, and if it's a draw both possibilites stay open. I don't know which I'd prefer to be honest... I really cant see Citeh slipping up in both games but you never know! I'd love to go into the final weekend within touching distance of 4th though.

Easily one of the best in the 2nd half of the year with Chicharito, but hasn't really got any recognition for it. He's now got the record for most consecutive away games scored in with 8. It's depressing though, just makes you wonder what he could do with a whole season fit

Quote:Liverpool owners John W Henry and Tom Werner fly in to announce appointment of Kenny Dalglish John W Henry and Tom Werner, Liverpool’s principal backer and chairman, are expected to attend the club’s final home game of the season, increasing the chances that Kenny Dalglish’s return as permanent manager could now be confirmed early enough for his side to kick off at Anfield against Tottenham on Sunday knowing he will be in charge next year.
The Americans, the principal owners of the Fenway Sports Group consortium which has owned Liverpool since October, are due to fly in to the city on Friday. As well as examining the state of their investment at the end of their first season in charge, they are thought likely to take the chance to announce that the Scot will take charge on a full-time basis. Talks between the two parties have been progressing for almost six weeks and the public appointment of the Scot - initially installed as a caretaker in January - has been described as imminent by sources acquainted with the negotiations for almost a month.
Dalglish has made plain his delight at having the chance to return to a post he vacated in 1991, while FSG has been impressed by the stunning turnaround in form overseen by the Scot in his four months in charge.
Any minor hitches over the length of his deal, the exact nature of his relationship with director of football Damien Comolli and provisions for a position at the end of his contract are thought to have been overcome.
Dalglish’s success - recording 10 wins, three draws and just three defeats in his five months since replacing Roy Hodgson at Anfield - has served to make FSG’s first managerial appointment a formality, despite an initial intention to appoint a younger manager around whom they could build the club for the next decade.
At 60, Dalglish hardly fits that description. Equally, he is less accustomed to working in FSG’s preferred management structure - alongside Comolli - than the Americans would, perhaps, have wished, but Henry for one has been fulsome in his praise of the former Blackburn and Newcastle manager. Speaking to Fox Soccer Channel earlier this season, Henry said: “In retrospect you could not have made a better choice [for caretaker than Dalglish]. I know he, for a long time now, has wanted to be in this position, so it’s a great thing for the club, for Kenny and for us." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool/8508234/Liverpool-owners-John-W-Henry-and-Tom-Werner-fly-in-to-announce-appointment-of-Kenny-Dalglish.htmlGood news

There's been so many false alarms in regards to Kenny signing the contract, so I don't want to get too excited yet... but there seem to be more widespread reports of it this time around... Rory Smith and Jim Boardman both alluded to it.

Edited by guest: 13/5/2011 12:09:02 AM I didn't really mean that in terms of talent, I'm talking more so that almost 99% of Liverpool fans would view whatever the new manager did as probably inferior to what Kenny would have achieved. It had to be him.

It had to be him. He's the best option right now. The squad is playing quality football so there is no need to change something that is working so well... if we'd done poorly since Kenny came in, most people wouldn't mind if we got Villas-Boas or another one of the managers linked with us... but nobody can deny the club has improved tenfold in many regards since Kenny came in.
