This is their biggest problem for me. Full of MOTD players who want nothing to do with it when it's not a 'big' match.

Only have to see the difference between games like when they play United and when the play Stoke. You guys usually rape us at Anfield and Stoke look like Barca against you.

They're paid the same amount regardless of the opponent. It shouldn't be an issue, but it clearly is. Especially in defence. And the Stoke and Villa games demonstrated that absolutely.

The worst part is, if we'd actually been motivated and WON both those games, we'd be equal on points with Arsenal in fifth.

Motivation does seem to be an issue. Who is responsible for motivation the players or the Gaffer and his assistants?


Leaking pissy goals is an issue also. Skrtel and Agger are good defenders but they need to be more consistent. That is something that you would say about a young player coming through. But really these two need to step up.

It would usually be easy to point to the manager for that. But really, it has been an issue for years.

They're both good defenders when they have someone more reliable and consistent in next to them. They're not good with each other and the sooner we realise this and bring in a defender who can marshal the whole defence and stay focussed, I think we'll fix a major flaw in the side.

Given we've had different managers and assistants all over the place in that time I really think the buck still stops with the players there.

They could have given him a jersey that wasn't crinkled and creased for the photo shoot as well.

TBH the more I think about it, the more a good move it seems to me.

Fun fact: Suarez's brace this morning took his tally to 15. The last time we had a striker score 15 goals was Torres in the 09/10 season when we finished second.

I think second is a bit out of reach, but if we pick up a run of form, European Football is suddenly a real possibility.

We'll be lucky to finish in Europe when two in a row is the best we can string together these days.

We always step up a gear against the bigger clubs, so I'm hoping we can make thousands of United fans cry next round.

So we have young Sturridge into the fold - he should be fresh pumped ready to go having hardly had a look in chelskis 1st squad hopefully this works for us finally having a Luis partner.

I've got money on Suarez to be honest.

Can't wait to be a part of the Stretford End giving it to Suarez. However, I would put money on him scoring, and most probably an important one.

I'd give anything for Suarez to score a 90th minute winner :lol: After nutmegging Evra.

But what will ACTUALLY happen is Suarez will nutmeg Evra, fall down in the box and the ball will trickle harmlessly out of play as he screams for a penalty.
