What an absolute fucking club legend.
I'll definitely be crying in the final game of the season.
We'll be in the market for a tank CB over the summer for sure now.

I hope Carragher takes every single remaining penalty kick we have.
And if we're 4 - 0 up against Everton and Everton get a penalty in the 92nd minute, Carragher can take that one too.

I have no doubt it'll be the same for Jamie. I just hope that our last game of the season is trivial in nature and Carra gets a decent run.

Is Luis Suarez just a flat track bully?
13 goals in 11 games vs bottom half teams and just 4 in 14 against top half teams.

I find it funny that a blind person, and a couple of aging legends with blindfolds on, managed to convert penalties during half time, but Steve Gerrard, un-blindfolded, didn't.

Was Ben Foster in goals at half time too? Another insipid performance, we are so far off being a top 4 team it's not funny.

Like I said in the match thread, main problems being that we still can't finish.
I think we sorely missed Sturridge that outting. Shelvey can't stay onside to save his life. Doesn't help that Foster had the game of his life.
Poor interplay didn't help much either. The defense was fine right up until we capitulated with Gerrard's missed penalty. Then we just imploded and lost confidence, namely Agger who suddenly forgot how to mark.

im sorry but shelvey needs to be loaned out somewhere, he was woeful in that game. He not a top 4 team player, he's a mid table english player, would be better suited at stoke.

He should be at a club AIMING to be mid-table, not one aiming for european competition. Shelvey isn't a BAD player, he just needs to keep learning instead of looking like a twat.

Wasn't the recent Man City/Arsenal games considered a success, despite giving up late goals?
I'd rather Brendan stay. He's leading the club in a positive direction. Joe Allen and potentially Courtinho (need to see more of him) aside, his signings have been brilliant, and his game tactics are much better than coaches of past seasons. Plus Hendo is flourishing under him in a way he never did under King Kenny, and improvements have been seen along the first team in small ways. At the moment our biggest problem is we have fuck all depth.
Yes, you're mad about recent poor results. I'm mad about Oldham, West Brom and the racists as well. But if you genuinely, honestly believed that Brendan would walk into the team and win FA Cup, League Cup, European Cup, and finish 2nd at the lowest first season, you've got unrealistically high expectations. There's too much debris to clean up in the club from the past years for just one seasons work.

Sahin failed. Assaidi hasn't done anything. Yesil is too young to call. Sturridge has been good, but you need more time to judge him as well. who else has there been?

All the guys he has signed are future players the next 2-3 seasons. I guess it is the old question trade to win now or trade to hopefully win 2 or 3 times in the future

Well reaction after the 2bad results. Even though Swansea was a weakened side you never know what to expect from us of late thankfully some much needed goals were pumped and some pride and confidence is whats needed for the run home. Good on Coutinho nice home debut ! SG making amends with the pen and love it when Enrique plays a solid game.

That Enrique goal. All of the sex.
Very good display, the lads played well, Coutinho looked sharp.
Need Anfield to be rocking on Thursday though.

Whilst we're on the subject of Joe Allen, IIRC didn't Funky and Imno make a sig bet that Allen would be in Liverpool's top 3 for POTY?

Holy shit England players can score penalties. Disappointed Carragher didn't step up but happy for the result.
That Enrique goal had me drooling. Suarez's tricky footwork as well <3
