I also hope we don't use Sturridge - small strain can get worse easily, we have enough attack options. Every game till end will have its moments but I can't wait for mourinho to turn up at Anfield, a fit Sturridge is part of the ingrediant needed for this one. Imagine the Black Cats taking a point from Stamford Bridge coming up - come on Borini ! Edited by M.L.: 17/4/2014 01:09:21 PM

Keeping Sturridge on the bench unless we need to chase a late goal would be the obvious option.

I think I'm in love with sunderland. Taking 2 points off city and 3 off Chelsea over 4 days. Man I really hope they can stay up.

Do you guys finally believe me that it's written in the stars now?
How lucky can you get that you send out one.of your worst strikers in recent seasons and he wins you the bloody title without playing for you.
Its destiny unfortunately.

 Yeah it's ridiculous how things have fallen into place. Credit to you guys though, still had to win, what is it 11 games in a row. Can't really say you don't deserve it.

Also now a chance for you guys to win the title at home against Chelsea, provided you get past Norwich tonight.
Have to say I am warming to the idea of Chelsea possibly being knocked out of the UCL semis and losing the title in the same week

I was at an Italian restaurant just off Trafalgar Square with my family earlier and logged into Facebook to see the final score from the Chelsea game and couldn't believe it! Then on the way home we stopped in to a Pret a Mange (sandwich chain) for drinks and as I entered the store, two blokes in Chelsea jerseys walked out. I didn't say a word to either of them. If I'd seen a single Sunderland fan I honestly would have taken them to a bar and shouted them rounds! As a side note, anybody know some good venues in Paris to catch the Premier League matches? Will be there next weekend...

BB I will never count the chickens till they've hatched but yes the stars are aligning as it does for any title aspirant tbh. Luck comes into it, other games fall the right way but importantly as sydcro mentions we ARE and have been the form club since Jan :) OK I gambled/prayed on a draw but FFS the blues losing at the Bridge is BS ! best defense to date going down to last place ! Here's some trivia - chelski's GA is 26 and black cats GF is 26 :o It will mean nothing if we don't come away with the points this game coming up but damn didn't I pick it re Borini  He has played better with them than us on another carroll has done the same with the hammers. Regardless of tonights result - imno picked it long ago our game vsing mourinho will is the BIG one ! :p

Quote:Prophet Angel predicts Liverpool to win title

HARARE – A youthful Zimbabwean prophet Uebert Angel has prophesied that Liverpool will win the English Premier League title this season. Prophet Uebert Angel
Prophet Uebert Angel
Angel who is the founder of Spirit Embassy church and once lived in Manchester is widely known for various football prophesies.
In May 2012 Angel prophesied that Chelsea would beat Liverpool to win the FA Cup a few hours before kickoff. Chelsea went on to win 2-1 after he had correctly spelt the scoreline and gave exact goal descriptions.
He was again on point when he foretold Manchester United’s league glory last season. A self-confessed Manchester United fan, he however sees Liverpool bagging it this season.
“Liverpool, I am with you this year and God has shown me he is returning you to your glory days,” he said.
It would be Liverpool’s 19th league title and their first since the 1989/1990 season.
Early this month Angel also correctly prophesised the exact day, date and time former South African President Nelson Mandela would die. SuperSport.com http://nehandaradio.com/2013/12/30/prophet-angel-predicts-liverpool-to-win-title/I remember hearing about this when the story came out. Thought I would post it now.

Just stunning, though. I've been looking forward to Borini coming back, I think he's got ability. Played well today.
Need to do the business tonight against Norwich though. NO FUCKING AROUND. 4-0 after 30mins please.

We win against Norwich then us vs Chelsea will be for the title cant wait.
Anyone see the so called special ones comments after the loss to sunderland
basically said he thanks the refs for taking the title from them and giving decisions to us to make sure we won it. Bad loser  Thank you Sunderland and borini

If we beat Norwich and chelsea we are 8 points from chelsea and still 7 from city yea City have 1 game in hand so say they win that we are 4 points in front of them ? so the pressure is on man city to win every game because if they dont in the next 2 we got it if we do.

Still a long way to go. The game tonight scares me. Look true - canaries are going to throw everything at us just as the balck cats did to chelski no doubt about it, they are fighting for survival - there are 2 fronts in this game, we have to take it on just as SG says we go again !, its another game of our lives we can't afford to sit back let them come to us we have to make it ours. Anyone got the starting squad available yet ?

So: - Borini has (quite possibly) helped Liverpool secure the title without even playing for them. - David Moyes has finally succeeded in getting Everton above Man United despite not attending a single Everton training session all season. - Patrice Evra has nominated Luis Suarez for European footballer of the year. - Liverpool have won an away match against a lowly team battling for survival and their fans are complaining about their performance. - Man United fans are saying it's Liverpool's season while Reds fans are looking for any reason to talk down their chances, despite Liverpool's form. Like I said- crazy times... Edited by Captain Haddock: 21/4/2014 08:24:49 AMEdited by Captain Haddock: 21/4/2014 08:25:56 AM

About sums it up from the sideline  As mentioned elsewhere thank fk that game ended ! Sakho and Johnson scare the be jesus out of me, then again against citeh and the better sides they clean their acts up. Luis is struggling at present but thats fine Sterling picks up the slack :d Certainly missed Hendo. Godd to see Agger back out.

Having Sturridge return against Chelsea will be a big boost. Even though he got on the board, Suarez is itching to score more than one goal per game and its' visible in his attitude. Thankfully, even with Hendo out there's still enough strike-power up front to cover for any defensive shortcomings. As I said earlier, one of the strongest points of this team is that even if two of the big scorers (Suarez, Sturridge, Sterling) has a quiet game, there are other players who just seem to slip into their place and get the goals- whether it's Stevie G with a penalty, Coutinho or even Skrtel! TBH if I had the option of a strong defensive team who rarely scored more than 2 goals per game, or a weaker defensive team who got lots of goals I would choose the latter because I believe it has a bigger psychological impact on the opposition. If you play a renowned defensive team, there's a stronger belief that you can crack them on the counter attack. With a side like Liverpool, even if you have a team who are good or lucky enough to score 3 against them, chances are still high that they could get 4 goals in return anyway. Against Norwich for instance, one of their two goals was down to a lapse from Mignolet (same as City last week) while it's not at all unrealistic to say Liverpool could have finished with 5 goals on the board- in a match where they were "poor" for 20 minutes of the second half...
