India 2/61 at stumps, should be able to get a draw on this pitch, but then again this is India.

Quote:Record sell-out for Scorchers final Courtney Trenwith January 25, 2012 - 10:25AM Read later.Tickets to the Perth Scorchers home final in the Twenty20 Big Bash this weekend have sold out in just 16 minutes. It was a record fourth consecutive sell-out for Scorchers games at the West Australian Cricket Ground, with not even a forecast 42 degree heat deterring fans. The Scorchers will face the Sydney Sixers on Saturday night. Cricket Australia also announced this morning that the start time had been pushed back 30 minutes to 5pm due to the extreme weather conditions forecast. The decision was made by CA in consultation with the WACA and the host broadcaster Fox Sports. Gates will open 3pm. While the action is set to be scorching on the pitch, fans attending are strongly encouraged to stay well hydrated leading up to and during the match, and, of course, wear orange. And guess what- Marsh got a duck. Surely his last test for a while. Great century but from Kohli.
Clarke and Ponting batting together again! What are the odds for at least one of them getting another 100?

In reply to NZ's 495, Zimbabwe were rolled for 51 and are now 6/37. Oh dear.

Oh dear. did you have to remind me. its so effing frustrating. we come in with soo much promise and hope and then do this. What needs to happen is Alan Butcher needs to be sacked. Gary Ballance, Sam Querl, Sikandar Raza and a couple of other lads should be selected. The longer we do this shit, the worse it gets. I could be a better selecter than the current Zim lot.

RedKat wrote:No offence to Zimbabwe but why would NZ bother organising a test against them? Like are they in need of an ego boost that much? We gave New Zealand a massive test in Zims late last year. They thought they had enough to beat us, and we just fell short. This has been our worst performance since our return to Tests. Zims selectors got it wrong from the start. They left out some key players and thought they could get away with it, and it failed miserably. I expect to see some sort of overhaul. EEEFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Zim cricket board and selectors for ruining my team yet again.

Loved the big fell when he was playing - I cant find his 201* on youtube :( Nice clean sweep :D I really really hope we leave the bowling lineup as is - unless Patterson is good to go and he replaces Harris. And memo selectors can we please please please stop the spinner roundbaout now...weve got our man IMHO Clarkey has matured as a player and a person - hope the haters can STFU now

Funky Munky wrote:EDIT: Forrest is the main WTF selection. Brilliant record in the Sheffield Shield this year, very meh in the shorter form of the game. I don't see why you'd pick him over someone like Ferguson who averages 70 in the one-day cup this year. Even show faith in your decision to pick Bailey as T20 captain by picking him. And Mitchell Marsh does not deserve to be anywhere near international cricket just yet. I'd be giving Lyon a go at the shorter form of the game too.

Call me old fashioned - but I really don't enjoy T20 cricket. I think I watched all of 4 overs of last night's International.

Same, I had it on but wasn't really paying any attention. I just don't find it enjoyable at all. Gimme One Day and Test cricket every day of the week. That being said, that switch hit from Dave Warner was pretty sick
