2nd test against South Africa in November last year. Clarke made 230, Hussey 103 and Warner 119

Let's hope this game doesn't finish as a draw. It'd be a shame not to have a chance to get a result in 2 if the 5 tests.

Great result for Steve Smith. He has taken his opportunity to play as a specialist batsman even though some stupid people still think he is in the side as an all rounder. His 89 earlier in the series and now this innings are very promising. I am glad the selectors admitted there original mistake and added him to the Ashes squad after initially inexplicably leaving him out.

Amazing how England can complain how scoring was hard in the first innings and then score at double the run-rate after Australia make a sporting declaration.

Don't pretend like KP won't get even worse treatment when they come over here.

We all know that the poms are poor sports.

A day's play is 90 overs over 7 hours. So that's a completely normal rate of play.

Sri Lank are by far the worst.
